<p>Here is a look at seven members of the Class of 2025 who posted solid defensive numbers during the 2022 season.</p>

<p>All seven racked up at least 80 tackles as sophomores and are headed into their junior seasons.</p>

<p><strong>Sylar Rohr</strong>, LB, 5'8”, 150, Hill City</p>

<p>Rohr finished his sophomore season with an eye-popping total of 109 tackles. Ten of those tackles went for lost yardage. To those numbers, he added four sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1115719' first='Oakley' last='Duvall'], </strong>LB, 6'1”, 135, South Barber</p>

<p>Duvall an outside linebacker for South Barber racked up 103 total tackles during the 2022 season. Twelve of those tackles during his sophomore campaign went for a loss of yardage. He also finished with half a sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery.</p>

<p><strong>Landon Sump, </strong>LB, 6'1”, 160, Blue Valley</p>

<p>Sump finished his sophomore season with 96 total tackles. Five of those tackles went for lost yardage. Sump plays the outside linebacker position for the Rams.</p>

<p><strong>George Von Leonrod, </strong>DB, 5'11”, 185, Dighton</p>

<p>Dighton's defensive back finished with 91 total tackles during his sophomore season. Two of those tackles accounted for a loss of yardage. He is a bit of a ball-hawk, as he finished the 2022 season with four pass breakups and one interception.</p>

<p><strong>Christian Chandler</strong>, LB, 6'1”, 190, Pretty Prairie</p>

<p>Chandler is a solid-sized middle linebacker from Pretty Prairie. He finished his sophomore season with 87 total tackles. Seven of those tackles were for lost yardage. The Pretty Prairie prospect also finished with 1.5 sacks, and one interception during the 2022 season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1429042' first='Dayton' last='Stephen']</strong>, DB, 5'11”, 161, Hill City</p>

<p>Hill City's defense should be well-stocked in the upcoming years. Stephen, a second Hill City prospect, finished his sophomore season by collecting 81 total tackles.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1453221' first='Kolson' last='Cook'], </strong>DE, 6'0”, 155, Bucklin</p>

<p>Cook is the only down lineman to earn his way on this list. The Bucklin Ace finished with 81 total tackles. Seventeen of those came behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of yardage. He also finished five sacks and one interception during the 2022 season.</p>
