Rochester Adams Key Returning Players For The 2023 Season

He has excellent size for the position and does a great job of using his full length to get balls that are thrown a bit off target. I love the burst he has and it really helps him to win vertically on go-routes. The play strength is on full display when he is running routes as defenders usually cannot disrupt his routes. He has very good hands and catching the ball looks easy for him. Prieskorn has good change of direction and does a good job of exploding out of cuts. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Drew Heppner- RB/DB- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14526632/63557bd4d46886046c4e6ddc">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Heppner plays deep safety for <strong>Adams</strong> and shows a good, fluid back pedal. His back pedal helps him to stay get in a good position to come up and make interceptions. He shows good hands and coming down with interceptions are no problem for him. Heppner shows good burst out of cuts at running back. He can really get up field in a hurry and is a guy who can get 10-yards before the defense touches him. Heppner is elusive and moves laterally very well. His lateral movement is critical in helping him make defenders miss. Heppner is a very good athlete and a difference maker for <strong>Adams</strong>. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='566987' first='Ryland' last='Watters']- QB- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2K03Dx">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watters is an excellent runner and is a guy who runs with a lot of power and strength. He looks very confident on read option plays and almost always makes the right read. Watters was just a freshman this past year in 2022 and will enter only his sophomore season. He is listed with the varsity roster so it looks like he will have a great chance to be the varsity starter at quarterback. Watters does have a strong arm and can make accurate throws over the middle of the field. He shows very good acceleration when he takes off and runs as he gets up to top speed quickly. His long speed is very good and it allows him to break long runs for touchdowns. I am excited to see how Watters performs this year in 2023. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lachlan Tillotson- WR- <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2K8Qea">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tillotson has good hands and does a great job of snatching the ball out of the air and tucking it in. Tillotson is good after the catch and can turn up field quickly and make defenders miss. He shows good body control and can breakdown quickly and get open on curl routes. Tillotson is a good athlete and does a great job of going up and extending for balls throw a little higher. Tillotson has a smooth release off the line of scrimmage and can accelerate into his route in a hurry. Tillotson was only a sophomore this past year and enters only his junior year in 2023. His play combined with Heppner, Prieskorn will put a lot of pressure on opposing offenses. Tillotson will come in and play wildcat quarterback for <strong>Adams</strong> as well. He can make correct reads and does a great job of getting upfield and picking up yards. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
