We are going to look at prospects who had great 7-on-7 performances as well as guys that continue to light it up in the lab. The work is being put in for the upcoming season and we are going to shine the spotlight on some prospects that are putting in the work.
Kevin Pope Kevin Pope 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Pine Bluff | 2026 State AR -Running Back-Pine Bluff-2026
Pope is a versatile prospect out of Pine Bluff. He can play the running back and linebacker spots with equal effectiveness. Over the past few weeks, Pope has put in plenty of time in the lab. He has continued to work on his speed and agility. Pope has the potential to be a playmaker on both sides of the ball for the Zebras. He has the speed and work ethic to be a player to watch out for this upcoming season.
Caden Henderson Caden Henderson 5'7" | 150 lbs | RB Conway | 2024 State AR -Running Back-Conway-2024
The Conway Wampus Cats have the potential to be a team that makes a deep playoff run this season. The work that is being put in up to this point has been impressive. Conway running back Caden Henderson Caden Henderson 5'7" | 150 lbs | RB Conway | 2024 State AR does a good job of carrying the ball between the tackles. Meanwhile, he has put on display good pass catching ability. Henderson can line up at receiver or catch the ball out of the backfield. Henderson and the Wampus Cats have the potential for a strong 2023 season.
Daniel Anderson Daniel Anderson 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Bryant | 2025 AR -Running Back-Bryant-2025
Daniel Anderson Daniel Anderson 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Bryant | 2025 AR has not stopped the work this offseason. Anderson has opened plenty of eyes this offseason. He has great speed and can hit a second gear when he gets into the open field. Anderson is dangerous running the ball between the tackles. He had another impressive showing this past weekend at the Sonic Air Raid 7-on-7 tournament. Anderson is a prospect that can play on Saturdays in the future. He has the potential to put up some big numbers this season for the Hornets.
Samuel Hicks Samuel Hicks 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Booneville | 2026 State AR -Offensive Line-Booneville-2026
Samuel Hicks Samuel Hicks 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Booneville | 2026 State AR is an offensive lineman that can overpower opposing defensive linemen. Hicks has quick feet and explodes out of the stance well. In the Booneville rushing attack, he has the opportunity to cause plenty of problems for opposing defensive linemen. Hicks attended the Arkansas Tech camp over the weekend and put on another impressive show. Hicks and the Bearcats have the potential to have another 2023 season.
Harold Lynch-Defensive Back-Bryant-2024
Harold Lynch is one defensive back that looks to be in mid-season form. Lynch has displayed an ability to create problems for opposing wide receivers. He gets physical with opposing wide outs and does a great job of separating the ball from the ball carrier. Over the weekend, he earned defensive most valuable player honors on the defensive side of the ball. I look for Lynch to have a strong season this upcoming season for the Hornets.
