Iowa City West's [player_tooltip player_id='245608' first='Jack' last='Wallace'] is ranked as the top QB in Iowa's 2025 class, earning that distinction after stepping up big time as a sophomore. In nine games last season, Jack threw for 1,754 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, the most impressive part is he only threw two picks all season. Starting with his size, Jack already has a next-level frame at 6'3" and 218 pounds while still looking like he could continue adding to his frame. He showed great accuracy and touch in his throws, including his deep balls. Wallace not only does an excellent job fitting the ball into tight windows, but he can also put it in windows where only his receiver has a chance at the ball. Jack processes the game at a very high level, with his ability to quickly and efficiently work through his progressions. Wallace is very mobile in the pocket and can find ways to extend the play with his legs. He's also a tough player, willing to hang tough in the pocket to get the ball off at the right time or on the occasional QB tuck and run. He's received interest from several D1 programs and will likely start to draw offers soon if he gets off to a hot start.

Speed. Speed. Speed. That's the first thing that stands out about Louden's tape. With his 4.39-40 speed, he can get behind defenders with ease on deep routes and wreak havoc on defenses if you can get him the ball in space. When looking at his sophomore stats, it's no wonder he averaged a healthy 18.75 yards a reception with 32 catches for 601 yards. Great burst and acceleration help him hit an extra gear once he's broken away from the defense. Grimsley's vision and quick twitch make him very elusive on the field and a tough player to bring down on first contact. Physical blocker on the perimeter that can clear outside running lanes for his RB. Louden is also a valuable return man as well! Northern Iowa is the first team to offer the rising 3-star prospect, with many more likely to follow suit.

West Lyon workhorse back [player_tooltip player_id='318135' first='Tate' last='Hawf'] was a pleasant surprise when reviewing film. Coming off a great sophomore season in which he rushed for 813 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns, Tate will likely ride that momentum to another big year. Hawf is at his most dangerous when he's able to beat defenses to the outside, where he then displays a great burst and acceleration. He has good wiggle to weave through traffic, along with great vision that helps him see where his blocks are setting up. Tate does a great job keeping his powerful legs pumping through contact and always seems to end up falling forward. Hawf also impressed with his receiving ability out of the backfield. He can take advantage of receiving the ball in space with his quick, shifty feet and vision.
