Waukee's [player_tooltip player_id='247942' first='Nile' last='Eddy'] is a player that, surprisingly, is still waiting on his first offer. When you watch Nile's tape, you see a tough, hard-nosed runner that can carry the workload for an offense. He does a great job running north-south with a strong lower body and great balance to help him plow through tackle attempts. Eddy is also a threat if you let him gain the edge, as he can accelerate quickly and tack on extra yardage. Nile adds extra value as a receiving back out of the backfield. He does very well at taking advantage of getting the ball in open space and allowing his quick twitch work his way through traffic. Expect big things from Nile in year 4!

I first saw Holdon playing linebacker for the Fire Dragons 7v7 at a couple of tournaments. I was even more impressed after watching his junior season tape, in which he finished the year with 50.5 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, and two sacks. Holdon plays outside linebacker for Iowa City and has shown that he can cover the full list of duties you expect from the position. Clay does a great job dropping back in coverage, displaying that he can get depth when in coverage and is willing to get physical with receivers. You can put him right on the line of scrimmage and let him pin his ears back and get after the QB. Clay defends the run very well, displaying smart gap play and discipline to not overshoot himself out of the play. Strong player as well, displaying the ability to throw blockers off of him. Keep an eye on Holdon to have a big senior season.

Sleeper defensive lineman! Waterloo West's [player_tooltip player_id='156617' first='Drew' last='Hundley'] is a player that is surprisingly still getting overlooked on the recruitment circuit. He's a lengthy defensive end who played very well when in the 5-technique. There he's able to use his quick get-off and length to slip past blockers and could develop into a great edge rusher. Solid bend when attacking off the edge. Hundley uses his hands very well and showed a nice bag of moves he can dip into to disengage from blocks. Drew follows the ball with his eyes very well, never losing sight of it, and then does a great job pursuing the ball. He has the quickness to track down the ball carrier even when attacking from the backside of the play. Get on this one ASAP!!

Thomas Jefferson's [player_tooltip player_id='364460' first='Victor' last='Atupra'] is a very versatile athlete that impressed with the different ways he can contribute on the field. Offensively, Atupra played QB for the Jackets and showed that he can threaten defenses with his legs as well. Atupra is an excellent improviser with the ball in his hands. He sees the field very well and has the quickness and agility to make defenders miss. Victor's highest ceiling is likely on the defensive side of the ball, where he ended his junior season with 48 tackles (40 solo), an interception, and a tackle for loss. Atupra has a great range that spans from sideline to sideline and allows him to get depth from the safety position. He's quick to close space and is willing to step up to defend the run. Victor does a good job playing his hands and contesting the ball when it's in the air. He's quick to recognize plays and can pick up receivers that travel into his coverage zones. Atupra reports solid times in the 40-4.64, pro agility-4.31, broad jump-9'7", and a 34.5" vertical. Victor currently holds an offer from Dordt and has been on the radars of several teams after some great camps.
