Preseason 3A Report

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>3A is going to look different this season. We have some schools that are moving to the South. The champs are looking to repeat. There are a lot of people expecting to see the runner ups back. Let's check it out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Noxubee County Tigers</em></strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The County is moving to the South this season. They have some players returning from the state runner up season. [player_tooltip player_id='648939' first='Kamario' last='Taylor'] will be back at quarterback. [player_tooltip player_id='123210' first='Dequadrion' last='Welch'] will be at receiver ready to catch some passes. This team is going to be loaded with talent. The South won't be easy for them. They will have a lot to deal with.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>JDC Jaguars</em></strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Jaguars are going to be looking to get back on top. They didn't make it to state last season. We all know this community loves to be in the state championship game. JDC loves to run the wing t. They will be back depending on that offense next season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Nettleton</em></strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nettleton is going to have a lot of firepower on offense next season. They have [player_tooltip player_id='691276' first='Braylen' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402087' first='Gavin' last='Pargo'] returning on offense. They also have a very good offensive line to play behind. There are going to be some tough challenges for the Tigers this season. They don't have to worry about Amory this season. They will still have to face off against Aberdeen. A cross county rival that will definitely give them a run for their money.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Choctaw Co Chargers </em></strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Choctaw Co has the number one player in the 2025 class returning this season. [player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham'] is expected to put up some big numbers this year. Him and KJ York are going to have a lot of chances to connect under Dillon Mitchell's high-flying offense. They have a lot of weapons on offense that can help make a lot of plays. Choctaw Co was put out of the playoffs last year by Charleston. I'm sure they will be looking forward to playing them this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These are some of the teams I think will do well in 3A this year. There are more with great potential. Winona has a lot returning this year as well. [player_tooltip player_id='139603' first='Fred' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='910463' first='TJ' last='Lockhart'] are two big time players on their squad.
