"The Natural State over the next few seasons has a large number of talented signal callers coming up through the ranks. White has a strong arm and is not afraid to test opposing defenses with his arm. Another facet of his game is his ability to scramble and pick up yards on the ground using his legs. White has the potential to have another strong season in 2023. However, White placed his commitment with the Auburn Tigers a few days ago after sorting down to a final three of Clemson, Auburn, and Baylor. Congratulations go out to White on his commitment." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/02/recruiting-news-and-notes-2-7-23/">Recruiting News and Notes 2-7-23</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Running Back</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='149577' first='Braylen' last='Russell'] | Benton   A future Razorback, [player_tooltip player_id='149577' first='Braylen' last='Russell'] brings a special running ability to the Benton Panthers. He is a running back who is conditioned for the long haul during games and doesn't show any signs of fatigue as he continues to drive through forced tackles as defenders legs get weary near the end of the games.   "[player_tooltip player_id='149577' first='Braylen' last='Russell'] is a running back that just gets better as the game progresses. He will not go down initial contact and he forces the opposing defenders to wrap him to bring him down. Russell has the speed to cut the run to the outside but is strong enough to handle plenty of carries between the tackles. On Friday, Russell placed his commitment with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Russell is setting the stage for a strong 2023 season with the Benton Panthers." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/07/recruiting-news-and-notes-7-15-23/">Recruiting News and Notes 7-15-23</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='149931' first='Kenneth' last='Jordan'] | Pulaski Academy   Enjoying a recent string of recruiting success, [player_tooltip player_id='149931' first='Kenneth' last='Jordan'] has participated in a camp with Alabama, a visit at Princeton, and received an offer from BYU just in the month of June. It's not unusual for Pulaski Academy to have a game changer at running back, even though Jordan may arguably be the best one to come through in recent years.   "[player_tooltip player_id='149931' first='Kenneth' last='Jordan'] is a running back with the talent to hurt you in both the run and the passing game. Jordan has the speed to cut the run to the outside. Meanwhile, he is strong enough to carry the ball between the tackles. The talented Pulaski Academy running back has earned scholarship offers this week from Colgate, Tennessee-Martin, and Brown. I expect Jordan to have another strong season this season for the Bruins." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/05/recruiting-news-and-notes-5-27-23/">Recruiting News and Notes 5-27-23</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Wide Receiver</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins'] | Greenwood   "You will see this guy playing on Saturdays someday, it's just a question of who for. [player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins'] (5-11, 165, 4.49 40) is an incredible athlete who has had early success in his high school career. In a combination of his junior and sophomore years, he has tallied 155 receptions, 1,948 yards, and 21 touchdowns. Robins' agility is absolutely off the charts and that is attributed to his exceptional footwork. He is a very high IQ player and understands how to move and read the body language of defensive backs in order to put himself in positions to be successful in his route patterns." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/05/up-and-coming-seniors-ready-to-roll-in-the-fall-of-2023/">Up and Coming Seniors Ready to Roll in the Fall of 2023</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='762620' first='Dylan' last='Greer'] | West Memphis   "[player_tooltip player_id='762620' first='Dylan' last='Greer'], who is 5-10 and weighs 165 pounds, is determined to build on his impressive 2022 stats of 41 receptions for 894 yards and 7 touchdowns (21.8 yards/catch). Greer's catch radius is truly remarkable as it extends beyond his wingspan. Moreover, his ability to make contested catches is at a top-tier level. Although he is often utilized as a deep threat in the West Memphis offense, Greer's skills in running short and intermediate routes are also noteworthy. He demonstrates a polished technique in executing stick routes, and he has a quick transition when changing direction to throw defenders off balance. With offers from Henderson State and North Alabama, Greer has the potential to garner more attention if he manages to achieve a 1,000 yard senior season." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/07/notable-2024-wide-receivers/">Notable 2024 Wide Receivers</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='192298' first='John' last='Mark Charette'] | Pulaski Academy   A true talent for the Bruins, [player_tooltip player_id='192298' first='John' last='Mark Charette'] is chasing his third consecutive 1,000 yard and 10-plus touchdown season. If completed, Charette will have obtained a truly remarkable feat that deserves high recognition.   "[player_tooltip player_id='192298' first='John' last='Mark Charette'] has impressive versatility on the offensive side of the ball. Charette is a prospect that can line up at the tight end or wide receiver positions and not lose any productivity. He is a smooth route runner that can use his athletic ability to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Charette is unselfish blocker, and he does an excellent job of clearing a path for his teammates. Arkansas-Pine Bluff coaches have already extended a scholarship offer Charette's way. He is going to be a prospect to keep an eye on this season. Charette has the potential to light up opposing defenses this fall."<a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/02/march-2023-ranking-risers-2024-class/"> March 2023 Ranking Risers 2024 Class</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Offensive Line</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='706364' first='Carius' last='Curne'] | Marion   With an already impressive list of offers heading into his junior season, [player_tooltip player_id='706364' first='Carius' last='Curne'] added arguably his most notable one to date on July 28th when Kirby Smart and co. offered Curne an offer to play for the University of Georgia.   "[player_tooltip player_id='706364' first='Carius' last='Curne'] is an impressive athlete with incredible size and strength. At 6 foot 4 and 305 pounds, he has proven himself with a 4.8 40 and a 350 bench and 630-pound deadlift. He has garnered offers from power five schools like Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Arkansas, as well as other schools like Liberty, SMU, Texas State, Memphis, and UTSA. Curne's ability to beat defenders to the edge is impressive, as he uses his strong first step to beat them to the point of attack and force them away from play. Additionally, he is a force to be reckoned with on run plays, punishing linemen with his forceful chip blocks before making his way to the second level. One thing that stands out is his footwork, which appears quick yet under control in his pass-block drop steps." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/07/junior-and-sophomore-lineman-ready-to-make-an-impact/">Junior and Sophomore Lineman Ready to Make an Impact</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='716302' first='Aqeelo' last='Allen'] | Marion   Another strong piece to arguably the best offensive line in the 6A classification, [player_tooltip player_id='716302' first='Aqeelo' last='Allen'] is an absolute handful of a human being for defensive linemen to make work of.   "[player_tooltip player_id='716302' first='Aqeelo' last='Allen']'s recruiting stock continues to trend upwards going into the 2023 season after being offered by UAPB and granted an invitation to the Tiki Bowl in Hawaii. At 6 foot 3 and weighing 310 pounds, Allen is a true powerhouse, known for his pancake or bust style of play. His upper body strength is so intense that he's able to force defenders backwards as he sets up for a pass block, and his surprising speed makes him a force to be reckoned with on stretch plays. He's become a key player around the edge Marion's offensive formations, creating a wall that running backs can use to bust loose on the exterior. Look for Allen to continue to drag more offers and attention this fall." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/07/2024-offensive-lineman-garnering-collegiate-interests/">2024 Offensive Lineman Garnering Collegiate Interests</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor'] | Greenwood   As a 2026 recruit, [player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor'] has already racked up an impressive group of offers from some notable schools, such as, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Memphis, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Toledo, UNLV, and New Mexico State.   "One prospect that has had an extremely busy off-season is Greenwood's [player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor']. However, he is not quite finished with the camps and recruiting visits. The talented Greenwood lineman will be attending the Baylor Bears' camp on July 29th. Taylor has also been invited to attend the U.S. Army Bowl Combine that is being held in Frisco. Taylor has exploded from a recruiting perspective, and I do not expect that trend to stop." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/07/recruiting-news-and-notes-7-22-23/">Recruiting News and Notes 7-22-23</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tight End</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='393793' first='Cameron' last='Garrett'] | Marion   "The Marion Patriots have a dynamic receiving corps and [player_tooltip player_id='393793' first='Cameron' last='Garrett'] at the tight end position is one to watch out for over the next few seasons. Garrett has the receiving skills to cause problems for the opposing secondary. Meanwhile from a blocking perspective, Garrett is an unselfish blocker and has no problem creating a path for his teammates. Garrett is a prospect that has the potential to blow up from a recruiting perspective and will be making plays on Friday nights in the process." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2022/08/class-of-2025-arkansas-july-update-new-additions/">Class of 2025 Arkansas: July Update New Additions</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Defensive Line</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='187634' first='Peyton' last='McNeely'] | Benton   "McNeely is a prospect on the defensive line that scouts should watch out for this upcoming season. The Benton defensive lineman was extremely impressive at the Rivals camp in Dallas over the weekend. He used his speed well in one-on-ones to defeat the blocks and get into the backfield. McNeely was also impressive throughout the camp, and he is setting the stage for a big 2023 season for the Panthers this season." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/05/natural-state-prospects-putting-in-work-this-weekend/">Natural State Prospects Putting in Work this Weekend</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='639420' first='Marquaze' last='Parker'] | West Memphis   Ranked as a 3-star prospect on the main recruiting sites, Marquze Parker committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats on July 6th.   "The West Memphis defensive lineman is one of the most versatile prospects in the state of Arkansas. Parker explodes out of the stance and uses his speed well to disrupt the opposing offensive backfield. He defeats blocks well and can impact the opponent's rushing game and the passing attack as well. Over the past few weeks, Parker has earned scholarship offers from Southeast Missouri State and Cincinnati. I expect an impressive season from the West Memphis defensive lineman this season." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/06/recruiting-news-and-notes-6-24-23/">Recruiting News and Notes 6-24-23</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Linebacker</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer'] | Greenwood   A very versatile player for the Bulldogs, [player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer'] shows on his film that he can get the job done off the edge of the defensive formations and filling the box up and stopping the middle run game, not to mention being savvy in zone coverage's.   "The Greenwood defensive lineman opened plenty of eyes during the 2022 football season. Archer is a versatile prospect that can play the edge rush position or move to the linebacker spot and pressure the quarterback from that position. The early part of last week, [player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer'] earned a scholarship offer from the Toledo Rockets. Scouts are starting to take notice of the potential that Archer has playing on the defensive side of the ball. I look for Archer to have a big season in 2023 on the defensive side of the ball." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/03/recruiting-news-and-notes-3-7-23/">Recruiting News and Notes 3-7-23</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='205755' first='Cooper' last='Jones'] | Little Rock Christian   [player_tooltip player_id='205755' first='Cooper' last='Jones'] garnered two more offers this past month from Ouachita Baptist and Pittsburg State. Jones brings quite a bit of aggressiveness to the table in terms of making momentum shifting plays for the Warriors. He has such a fantastic, "I'm going to shut you down" demeanor when it comes to the opponents run game.   "The Little Rock Christian Warriors have several talented linebackers that are capable of making plays all over the field. [player_tooltip player_id='205755' first='Cooper' last='Jones'] fits that description perfectly. He is a linebacker that does a great job of reading the play and getting into the offensive backfield. Jones is capable of shutting down the opponents rushing game and causing plenty of headaches for the opposing quarterback in the process. Jones had the opportunity to open plenty of eyes at the Northwest Missouri State camp over the weekend. I look for Jones to have another strong season in 2023 and earn some scholarship offers in the process." <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2023/06/camp-news-and-notes-highlights-6-20-23/">Camp News and Notes Highlights 6-20-23</a>   [player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis'] | Little Rock Christian   An impressive player with a motor that never stops, [player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis'] is the prototypical linebacker all coaches love to have because of his tenacity and grit to put his nose in every play possible and to make his presence felt. Davis should continue to add on to the interests and offers he has received from Ouachita Baptist, Pittsburg State, and SEMO.   "The linebacker position for the class of 2024 was well represented in Fayetteville over the weekend. Little Rock Christian's [player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis'] has had two impressive seasons and displayed great speed. He is a linebacker that is always in on the play. He has trouble disrupting the passing game or shutting down the opposition rushing attack. Davis had another strong outing in Fayetteville over the weekend. He has the potential to close out his high school career on a high note this upcoming season."   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Secondary</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='149582' first='Martavion' last='Casey'] | Jacksonville   An all-around athlete, [player_tooltip player_id='149582' first='Martavion' last='Casey'] excels on both sides of the ball at the corner back and running back positions. Casey was one of the few players to earn Prep Redzone preseason honors for his positions on both sides of the ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='428896' first='Josiah' last='Rainey'] | Sylvan Hills   Quietly building a resume, [player_tooltip player_id='428896' first='Josiah' last='Rainey'] established a foundation for his recruiting going forward with impressive showings at the UCA camp and University of Arkansas camp during the month of June. As a 2025 recruit, Rainey has plenty of time to hone in interest and gauge offers as he continues to impress the masses on the gridiron.   "[player_tooltip player_id='428896' first='Josiah' last='Rainey'] uses his hands well and is not afraid to get aggressive with opposing wide receivers. He has the speed needed to stick with opposing wide receivers. Rainey does an impressive job of playing the ball while it is in the air. He will battle the opposing wide receiver for the football.
