Jacorey Whitted is a standout tight end who possesses a rare combination of size, athleticism, and skill- his impact on McAdory’s offense has really stood out. As a big, physical receiving target, Whitted presents a significant challenge for opposing defenses- his ability to stretch the field creates mismatches with his size and speed, while his strong hands and toughness allow him to make tough catches in traffic, often coming down with contested passes. In addition to that, Whitted’s strength and blocking prowess make him a valuable asset in the run game, as he uses his physicality to create opportunities for his teammates- consistently throughout a game you can find him pancaking defenders and helping his teammates get huge gains. In the last year, Whitted’s recruitment has really opened up- he’s picked up offers from Alabama, Florida, Texas A@M and more!
Leo Glover Leo Glover 6’2″ | 200 lbs | QB Florence | 2024 State AL is a highly talented dual-threat quarterback that has transformed Florence’s offense with his dual threat abilities. Glover has some seriously impressive speed and elusiveness, he consistently gains significant yardage on the ground and often leaves defenders in the dust when the ball is in his hands. Glover’s ability to also extend passing plays with his legs adds an extra dimension to his game and makes him a threat in both the passing and running game. In addition to his mobility, Glover showcases terrific accuracy as a passer, he has demonstrated the ability to deliver precise throws to his receivers regardless of their location on the field and has the arm strength allows him to make all the necessary throws downfield as well. Last fall was a big year for Glover, he totaled up 1288 passing yards and 11 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions, with an additional 147 carries for 700 yards 11 touchdowns on the ground as well. Jamauri McClure Jamauri McClure 5’10” | 190 lbs | RB Goshen | 2024 State AL is a highly talented running back that has greatly benefited Goshen’s rushing attack the past few seasons. With his patient running style, McClure exhibits great vision and the ability to find running lanes in crowded situations, while also being able to excel at protecting the ball, minimizing turnovers and ensuring the offense maintains possession and gains yardage. McClure has some great speed and agility that allow him to break away from defenders and make explosive plays on the ground- making him difficult to tackle and often leaving would-be tacklers lost and confused. Overall, Jamauri McClure Jamauri McClure 5’10” | 190 lbs | RB Goshen | 2024 State AL ‘s combination of athleticism, intelligence, and big-play ability make him a valuable asset in the running game, and last fall he put this on full display when he recorded 1,173 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns off of just 121 carries with an additional 354 yards 7 passing touchdowns through the air as well. Jabari Murphy Jabari Murphy 6’2″ | 200 lbs | WR Elmore County | 2024 State AL is a physical and highly skilled wide receiver that possesses all the tools necessary for success at his position. With his quickness and agility, Murphy creates separation from defenders and runs precise routes that allow him to consistently find open space. That paired with his ability to overpower defensive backs makes him a formidable target in contested catch situations, as he can outmuscle opponents to secure the ball. It all shows up on his tape, Murphy’s versatility as a pass-catcher allows him to make a wide range of difficult catches, showcasing his strong hands and body control and his combination of physicality, route-running, and catch-making abilities make him a reliable and dynamic weapon in the passing game. Last fall, Murphy had a big season that featured him going for 793 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns! In the last few months, Murphy has picked up offers from Mississippi State, West Virginia, Appalachian State, and more!
