Galea’i possesses exceptional closing speed. His footwork is textbook allowing him to easily transition from a backpedal to a sprint. Galea’i has excellent ball skills and can come out of nowhere to pick off passes. He times his pass breakups perfectly and can jar balls lose at the last second. Galea’i excels at blasting pass catches over the middle of the field and avoids flags while maintaining tight coverage. His ability to lock down wideouts will help him have a sensational sophomore season.

Fale does a good job breaking down in space to make tackles. He’s a reliable last line of defense who saved several touchdowns in 2022 for Granger. Fale can cover both sidelines and does a good job watching quarterback’s eyes. He can cover the backend or play in the box. Fale excels at getting back to cover on run fakes and is a strong tackler. Granger should take a big step forward in 2023, and Fale will be a huge part of their success.

Wilkerson plays both ways, so he has a great understanding of the receiver position that makes him a better defensive back. He does a good job recognizing when receivers are getting ready to get in and out of their brakes. Wilkerson sticks to pass catchers like glue and quickly reacts to their movements. His long arms help him knock balls away in the red zone. If signal callers make an errant throw, Wilkerson can put his elite hands to use and intercept passes.

Long excels at tracking the ball in the air. He may be out of position when quarterbacks make a throw, but he does a good job getting back in position to make plays. Long deflects passes at just the right time and can take them away if given an opportunity to. He can run with some of the class’s fastest receivers and plays bigger than his frame. Long is comfortable checking receivers in the slot or on the outside. Look for him to make even more memorable plays for Judge Memorial in 2023.
