Caleb Odum – TE – Carrollton
Not only is Odum one of the top tight end prospects in Georgia, but he’s one of the very best across the country in the 2024 class. Now, he’s committed to play for one of the very best programs in college football. The Alabama Crimson Tide. The big 6-foot-4 205-pound pass-catcher was an easy target for quarterback Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA as a junior last year and helped lead the Trojans all the way to the 7A state championship game. In 2022, Odum caught 64 passes for 1,121 yards and 13 touchdowns. A two-sport star who also dominates on the basketball court, Odum brings length, athleticism, and the ability to pick up big yards after the catch. He’s a big-play threat and made a big jump up to the No. 17 spot in the latest Prep Redzone rankings. In the end, the Carrollton Trojan star chose Alabama over Florida, Ole Miss, Auburn, Miami, Texas A&M, among others.
Jalyn Crawford Jalyn Crawford 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB Parkview | 2024 State GA – DB – Parkview
One of the top 2024 defensive backs across Georgia, Crawford is a tough, physical cornerback who excels in single coverage. He brings a lengthy 6-foot-1 180-pound frame and is one of the more technically sound cornerbacks across the South. Crawford shows great footwork, fluid hips, and fantastic ball skills. He’s a natural at the position, covers a lot of ground, and knows how to stay with just about any receiver he goes up against. He’s a sure tackler in the run game as well, making him one of the more well-rounded defensive backs in Georgia for the 2024 class. As a junior last fall, Crawford didn’t exactly light up the stat sheet, but that’s perfectly fine for someone at his position. He locked down opposing receivers on a consistent basis and has the ability to do the same at the next level. He held plenty of impressive Power Five offers, but in the end, Crawford committed to Auburn over LSU and Florida.
Justin Terrell Justin Terrell 6'2" | 280 lbs | DL Rome | 2024 State GA – Rome
One of the top 2024 defensive linemen in North Georgia, the excellent run-stuffing defensive tackle for the Rome Wolves has easy D1 talent, and recently made his college commitment to N.C State. An excellent run defender who plays with good leverage, Terrell was extremely productive last year on a talented Rome defense, making 54 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 7 TFLs. A 1st-team All-Region selection in 2022, Terrell will bring a lean 6-foot-3 285-pound frame to the Wolfpack defense down the road. As a player, Terrell is tough and physical, but he also brings quickness and burst off the ball. He has long length on his frame, allowing him to shed blocks from the inside and create penetration in the run game. Terrell held offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Wisconsin, but in the end, decided he wanted to head to North Carolina and play for the Wolfpack.
Barry Walker Barry Walker 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL Crisp County | 2024 State GA – OL – Crisp County
One of the top offensive line prospects in South Georgia, Walker is a massive 6-foot-6 315-pounder out of Crisp County who will head west to play for the up and coming UAB Blazers at the next level. This is a gigantic get for the Blazers as Walker has the size, physicality, and overall talent to make an early impact in Birmingham the minute he gets to campus in 2024. Walker is strong in the upper body, plays with balance, and knows how to protect the passer. Of course, his size and strength allows him to be a dominant run blocker as well. He’s a hard-worker, a competitor, and will get better and better over the next few years. He has long arms, he’s physical, and he’s continued to grow as a player year by year at Crisp County. He can still develop like all offensive linemen, but when you watch him play, it’s easy to see the potential he brings.
