Livingstone committed to the Texas Longhorns over the weekend. The talented wide receiver has had impressive seasons the past two years and is looking to close out his high school career on a strong note. The Longhorns earned the commitment of a wide receiver it seemed like every major college in the country was competing for and it will be interesting to watch his college career over the next few years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Dre'lon Miller-Wide Receiver-Silsbee-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fresh off the heels of a strong state 7-on-7 performance, Dre'lon Miller was able to place his verbal commitment. Miller does an excellent job of using his speed to stretch the field deep. In the process, he is able to create separation from opposing defensive backs. The route running and speed mix that he possesses is unique and he is able to leave quality defenders trailing after him. Earlier in the week, Miller had the opportunity to place his commitment with the Texas A&amp;M Aggies. Congratulations go out to the talented Silsbee wide receiver.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ty McFarland-Linebacker-Richland-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Richland linebacker is a prospect that is all over the field when you watch film on him. He is a linebacker that does a great job of reading the play. McFarland defeats blocks well and does not have trouble getting into the opposing offensive backfield. In pass coverage, McFarland is able to separate the ball from the ball carrier in impressive fashion. Earlier in the week, McFarland earned a scholarship offer from Miami of Ohio.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='627367' first='Daniel' last='Cruz']-Offensive Line-Richland-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='627367' first='Daniel' last='Cruz'] is a guard that plays with a mean streak for Richland High School. He is a powerful offensive lineman that is a dominating run blocker. Cruz does an impressive job of clearing a rushing lane for his running backs. Meanwhile, he has proven to be a steady pass blocker and does a good job of keeping his quarterback upright. Earlier in the week, [player_tooltip player_id='627367' first='Daniel' last='Cruz'] placed his commitment with the Texas Longhorns. He uses his athletic ability well to high point the football and haul in the reception. Griffiths has impressive speed, and he causes plenty of headaches for opposing defensive backs. His size and speed make it difficult for opposing defensive backs to cover him. Earlier in June, the talented Keller wide receiver placed his commitment with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Congratulations go out to Griffiths; he has the potential to have a monster 2023 season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
