Junior and Sophomore Lineman Ready to Make an Impact

When an incoming sophomore or junior stands out and makes their progress and success even more impressive because of the early work they have put in to put themselves on the map. These five players have provided a glimpse of what their potential holds for their future with the relentless work they have put in early in their careers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">C/O 2025 | [player_tooltip player_id='384061' first='Parker' last='Glaze'] | Benton </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='384061' first='Parker' last='Glaze'] recently attended camps at Arkansas State and the Rivals series, as well as the University of Arkansas and UCA spring games, not to mention a visit to Arkansas State. Glaze's hard work paid off when he earned the top camper award at a camp in Fayetteville, which garnered him lots of attention from journalists across the state. With his work ethic and skill attributes, he has recently enjoyed an offer to Memphis. Glaze has a quick first step and uses his brute strength to dominate the field. He's also known for his great handiwork and placement, which helps him avoid holding penalties. Glaze never is always looking for the kill shot, relentlessly pushing until he gets his opponents on their backs. At 6 foot 4 and 305 pounds, he has proven himself with a 4.8 40 and a 350 bench and 630-pound deadlift. He has garnered offers from power five schools like Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Arkansas, as well as other schools like Liberty, SMU, Texas State, Memphis, and UTSA. Curne's ability to beat defenders to the edge is impressive, as he uses his strong first step to beat them to the point of attack and force them away from play. Additionally, he is a force to be reckoned with on run plays, punishing linemen with his forceful chip blocks before making his way to the second level. Williams' chop steps once he begins to engage with second-level defenders allow him to create a great foundation to encounter quicker, more agile players to attempt to use agility moves to break his stride. He is a very patient player for such a young age as he focuses on centering defenders with his chest never allowing them to break outside of his shoulders. Williams (6-2, 315) has an aggressiveness that is impressive for an incoming sophomore, he's not afraid to lay a hit on a chip block to take a defensive lineman out of play at the line and then work his way to linebackers and force them back 5-plus yards to open up gaps for his backs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">C/O 2026 | [player_tooltip player_id='401195' first='Johnny' last='Garner'] | Ozark</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='401195' first='Johnny' last='Garner'] (5-6, 180) may be small in size, but he definitely packs a punch on the field. He is a patient player who is in tune with the game, and as a 2026 recruit, he already seems to be playing at his own speed. Garner never makes rash decisions based on blitzes or play fakes on the defensive line, he watches and understands play developments before pursuing the ball carrier. On the other hand, his pass-blocking IQ and technique are what impress me the most. Garner has a great understanding of setting a solid foundation in his drop steps and using his low leverage to prevent larger opponents from having success.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
