We have the opportunity to see which prospects are going to shoot up the rankings. In this article, we are going to introduce to you some prospects that have the potential to do big things this season.
Decari Prater Decari Prater 6'3" | 180 lbs | DB Prescott | 2025 State AR -Prescott-Defensive Back-6’3” 170-Pounds
The Prescott Curley Wolves have no trouble producing talent players. Decari Prater Decari Prater 6'3" | 180 lbs | DB Prescott | 2025 State AR does an excellent job of patrolling the secondary at both the cornerback and safety positions. He is a playmaker in the secondary that is impressive of playing the ball while it is in the air. Prater is not afraid to get physical with opposing wide receivers. Prater should see playing time on both sides of the ball this upcoming season. Prater makes his debut on the rankings, and this should be a strong season for the Curley Wolves and Prater.
Kevin Ellis Kevin Ellis 5'9" | 180 lbs | LB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Little Rock Parkview-Linebacker-5’9” 180-Pounds
The Parkview Patriots are fresh off of a state championship and have a roster full of talented players. Kevin Ellis Kevin Ellis 5'9" | 180 lbs | LB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR does a great job of fending off blocks and getting to the ball carrier. The Parkview linebacker reads the play well and hauls down the ball carrier quickly. Ellis plays the run well and does not miss on the tackles. Meanwhile, he has the speed to be able to drop back into pass coverage and disrupt the opponent’s passing attack. Ellis is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming season.
McLane Moody McLane Moody 6'6" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Smith Northside | 2025 State AR -Fort Smith Northside-Quarterback-6’5” 177-Pounds
McLane Moody McLane Moody 6'6" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Smith Northside | 2025 State AR is a signal caller that does a great job of moving around in the pocket and extending the play. Moody has a strong arm and is not afraid to test the opposing secondary on the deep throws. He is able to fit the ball into his wide receivers and his arm strength allows him to throw his receivers open. Moody has the potential to have a big season for the Grizzlies and is a prospect to watch out for this season.
Carius Curne Carius Curne 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Marion | 2025 State AR -Offensive Line-Marion-6’5” 290-Pounds
From a run blocking perspective, Carius Curne Carius Curne 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Marion | 2025 State AR is one of the most powerful in the state of Arkansas. He does a great job of clearing rushing lanes. Curne is quick out of the stance and gets into the opposing defensive lineman quickly. Curne’s power allows him to be a solid pass blocker. The Marion guard has the potential to be a prospect that college programs come after. I expect a big season from Curne and the Patriots this season.
Luther Tucker III Luther Tucker III 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Little Rock Southwest | 2025 State AR -Little Rock Southwest-Running Back-5’10” 190-Pounds
The Little Rock Southwest running back is one of the most explosive in the state of Arkansas. He finds the rushing lane and explodes through the hole quickly. Tucker III has the speed to get into the second level and leave defenders behind him. He is a running back that does a good job of catching the ball out of the backfield. Last season, he earned all-conference honors and I expect an even more impressive season this season. Tucker III is a prospect to keep an eye on this upcoming season.
