3 WELL-KNOWN RETURNERS

[player_tooltip player_id='902050' first='Titus' last='White'] — 6-0, 180 WR — Hahnville (2024)

White is the next standout in the Tigers' solid recent run of wide receivers, including Troy Kendrick and Dakota Williams the past two cycles. The rising senior provides the offense big-play ability with his listed 4.5-second 40-yard speed to stretch the field on vertical routes or to break screens or snaps in the backfield upfield for huge gains, as well as with strong high-pointing and overall ball skills to play bigger as a red zone target than his stature might suggest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220973' first='Calvin' last='Smith Jr.'] — 5-11, 200 RB — Hahnville (2025)

and [player_tooltip player_id='902062' first='Chase' last='Brooks'] — 5-10, 180 RB — Hahnville (2024)

Coach Daniel Luquet loves the 1-2 punch he has on the ground with Hahnville's duo of upperclassman running backs. Brooks and particularly Smith pack a combination of thick builds and strong balance to excel powering, spinning and bouncing through and off contact and enough elusiveness — Brooks with his stop-start quickness in his cuts and Smith with some good wiggle at full-speed — and acceleration in the open field for bigger gains. And both are capable receiving threats out of the backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='902065' first='Chase' last='Morales'] — 5-9, 170 LB/DB — Hahnville (2024)

The Tigers' lone returning first-team all-district performer from what was a heavily senior-led roster this past fall comes on the other side of the ball. The rising senior is a smart and instinctive linebacker/safety who quickly reads developing plays, navigates the traffic and avoids blocks and closes fast and violently to hard-hitting stops. Morales figures to be among a few veteran leaders for a young, but talented defense.

2 BREAKOUT CANDIDATES

[player_tooltip player_id='902060' first='Ryan' last='Gregson'] — 6-2, 185 QB — Hahnville (2024)

The two-sport standout, another of the Tigers' key rising senior leaders, returns at the helm of the offense starting to look more the part of a potential college quarterback with another inch or two of height and a thicker, stronger build. The driven and competitive Gregson has a clear handle of the offense and the confidence of his coaches and teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='1644752' first='Kobe' last='Louis'] — 6-3, 195 DB/WR — Hahnville (2025)

The rising junior, moving back to Hahnville after a year at East Ascension, should is an intriguing two-way athlete to watch on the heels of a growth spurt that now has him pushing 6-foot-3. Louis may be most likely to project as a safety at the next level, but also provides Gregson a big target to complement White on offense.

1 UNDERCLASSMAN TO KNOW

[player_tooltip player_id='401958' first='Frederic' last='Downing Jr']. — 6-3, 265 DL — Hahnville (2026)

The rising sophomore defensive lineman has the look of a potential budding young star on the Tigers' front and in Louisiana's 2026 class. Downing generated some buzz this summer on the college camp circuit, including stops at LSU, Tulane and Louisiana (Lafayette), with his tall, long frame and explosive get-off and closing speed.
