Continue ReadingGordon has explosion in short spaces—that much is evident very quickly. His ability to explode into contact or otherwise apply force to break angles of pursuit is impressive and has flashed both behind the line of scrimmage and at the second level in open space. This twitch, with his frame, allows him some wiggle to break down open-field tacklers as well
Anthony Jeffery
Anthony Jeffery
He checks the boxes for the prototypical scat running back. He has a short and squatty frame that offers some dynamism in space. He also has quick footwork to change gaps when defensive colors flash. He presses gaps with patience before finalizing his decision. His open-field burst offers optimism regarding his potential as a receiving back. A low center of gravity allows him to hide behind the OL as he maneuvers the box to find an open lane.

Williams is a tall running back with outstanding size and excellent overall athleticism. Williams is a patient runner who displays outstanding vision and instincts. He presses the line of scrimmage while staying square and waits for the play to develop then he has the short-area burst to explode through the hole or the lateral agility to slide across the line of scrimmage to an open gap. Once through the hole, Williams runs with toughness and physicality and breaks arm tackles with regularity.
Rj Boyd

He does a good job pressing perimeter gaps, forcing defenders to overflow, allowing him to cut back against their leverage. Boyd is good at making himself “skinny” to fit into smaller creases as he works into the next level of defense. His play strength and contact balance are impressive. His lower body is the source of this strength to power through tackles.
Marshall is a patient and physical one-cut runner that wants to get north and south quickly. That being said, he showcased more creativity as a runner to find space. He strung together multiple moves to avoid the defender’s attempts to bring him down. When his eyes and feet are paired together, Marshall identifies and hits cut-back lanes well.
