7A Sleeper Teams

<p>There are some teams that schools are expecting to be that good. We have taken the chance to break those teams down. These teams have showed some great growth during the summer. They also have some players ready to shock the state.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Meridian Wilcats</strong></h2>   <p>Meridian is going to be super loaded this season. Most people don't know that. [player_tooltip player_id='139635' first='Daniel' last='Hill'] will be back playing quarterback. He is a dog all over the field. Him at quarterback will open their offense a lot more. He is going to put up a lot of stats this season. They also have a stout defense.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>St Martin </strong></h2>   <p>I think that [player_tooltip player_id='139596' first='Noreel' last='White'] has what it takes to get this team over the hump. He will definitely need some help. I also think that he is a great leader that is ready to push these guys to another level. St Martin is known for playing a spread offense that likes to move the ball fast. It will be interesting to see how they do this season. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>DeSoto Central</strong></h2>   <p>I think they have a great chance to make a nice run this season. You got to have some dogs on defense to win in this class. DeSoto Central has those dogs on deck. [player_tooltip player_id='616699' first='Taurean' last='Davis'] is a dog at linebacker. He is also a big time leader on this team. He will be leading the pack for them. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Oxford</strong></h2>   <p>Oxford is going to be tough this season. They have some guys out there ready to ball out. They have the Grandjean brothers ready to take turns at quarterback. Oxford is known to be a balanced team. They are going to mix things up a lot on offense. They are known to play sound defense. It has been a few years since they have won.</p>
