The 2024 class is absolutely loaded and many top recruits have already decided their future landing spots. Today, we've got 5 recruits that are highly sought after and are still mulling over their options, and maybe still waiting for the perfect fit.

[player_tooltip player_id='299509' first='Patrick' last='Clacks'] - Crown Point - WR - 6'1" 188lbs

Clacks is a walking highlight reel, especially when he gets the ball in his hands. He's incredibly shifty and has great short-area agility. He's able to wiggle and create separation fairly easily. The windows he's given his QBs over the years are fairly ridiculous. There's a reason he catches so many balls. Even when the defense knows what's coming, they can't cover him. Last season he put up 78 receptions, 1138 yards, and 14 TDs. Over the past 2 seasons, he's put up 129 receptions, 1900 yards, and 20 TDs. In both seasons he's averaged over 14.5 yards per reception as well. Catching a ton of passes and being able to move the chains at that high of a level is a special talent in itself. Clacks is creative with the ball in his hands and is a criminally underrated athlete, which is why he's able to perform at such a high level all the time. Whoever eventually lands Clacks and adds him to their receiving room is going to have fun on Saturdays watching him go wild.

[player_tooltip player_id='475435' first='Donovan' last='Hamilton'] - Hamilton Southeastern - WR - 6'4" 195lbs

Hamilton is a dynamic deep-threat WR who is a dominant force in the red zone. He's got great size and jumping skills which continually come through for him in the money area. Last season alone, he brought in 10 TDs. Some of those are big plays and deep shots and then some of those big man catches you want to see. In total, he had 50 receptions, 814 yards, and those 10 TDs. A phenomenal season no doubt, but there's more to his game that can be unleashed down the road. He's got the rare size you're looking for in a player. Teach him your system, get him in the weight room, and you should be rewarded with a big-time player. Hamilton has a ton of eyes on him already, and more could be on the way.

[player_tooltip player_id='322439' first='Owen' last='Bright'] - Center Grove - LB - 5'11" 210lbs

Bright was one of the most obvious breakout candidates in my eyes heading into last season, I had him ranked as such and took some flak for it. But, to say he come out and had a breakout year would be insulting. The way he ended his Sophomore season, you could see he was becoming a confident and hard-hitting player who just needed time to learn the system. The minute it all clicked for Bright, he's been one of the best LBs in the state. He's elite moving side to side and coming downhill. He takes great angles and understands play development. He's able to jump gaps, shed blocks, and make difficult plays look easy in the running game. One of the things he does better than just about anyone is time snaps. Game after game, down after down, he's perfectly timing the snap if he's attacking beyond the LOS. This past season he put up 91 tackles, 60 of those being solos, 13 TFLs, 5 sacks, 3 interceptions, and rounded it out with 2 forced fumbles. The coaching staff that brings Bright in and develops him is going to be rewarded on Saturdays sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='109608' first='Ralph' last='Rogers'] - Bloomington South - LB - 6'0" 190lbs

Rogers is one of the most disruptive defenders in the state. He not only produces at a high level but has a high motor that most guys just can't match. He's a hard-hitting player who is all over the field. He's a good athlete so he's able to cover a ton of ground in a hurry. He even comes to balance fairly well and typically even attacks the outside hip. There are subtle things in Rogers's game that make you think he's just scratching the surface of what he can do. Last year he had 109 tackles, 57 solos, 10 TFLs, 2 interceptions, and batted down a pass. He's had just under 200 tackles over the past 2 seasons in total. He's a tackling machine who knows how to read and react. I feel like he's also got even more athletic potential and once he hits the collegiate weight room could really take off. I feel confident saying Rogers is going to be on the field somewhere on Saturdays causing havoc there too.

[player_tooltip player_id='322435' first='Alex' last='Holmes-Gaines'] - Lawrence Central - LB - 6'1" 190lbs

Holmes-Gaines is a fairly explosive LB who is really good at creating penetration and getting in the backfield. Whether he's rushing the passer or playing the run, he's able to get home. He's quick off the line like a DE, but doesn't quite have that thickness. However, him being quicker than your average edge rusher, and then still having decent strength, is why he's able to be so versatile. He can play at or near the LOS and then drop back and play coverage. That's exactly how they use him at times and it allows him to play free. The past 2 seasons he's been as consistent as anyone in that defense for them. He's put up 98 tackles, 8 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, and forced 2 fumbles while roaming and attacking in the second level for LC. Holmes-Gaines's athletic ability alone gives him a high upside, and his ability to produce while learning is only going to help him wherever he ends up.
