More than two dozen players in the latest Prep Redzone Louisiana rankings saw their positioning rise on the list compared to the previous iteration.

Those moves range from a one-spot climb for Destrehan edge rusher [player_tooltip player_id='285192' first='Kolaj' last='Cobbins'] from No. 4 to No. 3 to a huge leap of 81 spots by speedy Edna Karr wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='421614' first='Rahji' last='Dennis'].

Here are a few notes on the five biggest jumps into the No. 26-50 range.

No. 35 [player_tooltip player_id='681280' first='Javion' last='White'] | 5-11, 175 ATH | Franklin Parish (Tulane)

Like Archbishop Shaw defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='678290' first='Jayden' last='Scott'] on the top-25 risers list, [player_tooltip player_id='681280' first='Javion' last='White'] was increasingly looking throughout this offseason like a potential Power Five prospect that Tulane landed as a notable steal in late June. White has good size and speed, but plays even faster and bigger with his great feel for the game and ball skills. And the Green Wave sees notable cornerback potential on top of his definite safety potential.

No. 40 Traville Frederick | 6-3, 240 TE | Jeanerette (Tulane)

The Tigers' standout is a big, athletic pass-catcher who moves really well at his really good Division-I size in both his route-running and with the ball in his hands — as he showed with a quick spin after the a catch at the Louisiana (Lafayette) 7-on-7 tournament. Frederick already appears to be a notable steal in Tulane's impressive 2024 recruiting efforts after fielding interest from multiple Power Five programs, but sticking with his pledge.

No. 43 [player_tooltip player_id='285617' first='Katrevrick' last='Banks'] | 6-3, 180 ATH | Homer

The Pelicans' two-way standout is now listed an inch taller and 15 pounds heavier than when he first popped on the Prep Redzone Louisiana radar late sophomore year. Banks, who has garnered SEC recruiting attention, also has a listed 4.5-second 40-yard dash that appears to show on his highlights with an explosive burst and good top gear.

No. 46 [player_tooltip player_id='421523' first='Christian' last='Pritchett'] | 6-3, 175 DB | St. Augustine (Georgia Tech)

The Purple Knights' standout had a strong offseason with his consistent interception-snatching ballhawking in 7-on-7 matchups and his 4.5-second 40-yard dashes at college camps. Pritchett is one of the tallest, longest safeties in Louisiana's rising senior class and is at his best playing the back end, reading opposing quarterbacks and anticipating and jumping throws. But he has also repeatedly shown the ability to hold up well covering the slot and a willingness to come down closer to the box and help in run support.

No. 47 [player_tooltip player_id='285621' first='Armani' last='Cargo'] | 5-11, 160 ATH | John Ehret (Tulane)

The Patriots' versatile standout generate lots of buzz at outdoor track and field state championships in May with his top 100- and 200-meter times in the state, which helped secure the immediate Tulane offer and then commitment a few weeks later. Cargo is a long, competitive athlete with special speed who has a chance to prove himself another Green Wave steal as he continues to develop physically in a college strength program and technically as he zeroes in on one position with college coaching.
