Every year around the early summer time we hear about some new names that have taken over the Canadian Football landscape. This year there may be no bigger name than Sainte-Catherine, Quebec wide reciever Antoine Goupil.

Goupil has burst into the Canadian spotlight this summer and is considered to be the most dangerous pass catcher nation wide. At 6-foot-7, 215 pounds, the class of 2025 French reciever comes with very unique traits. The obvious is the freakish size but what can not be overlooked is the speed that comes with it. Goupil runs a 4.65 40 and had a 35 inch vert. Putting those two qualities along side the massive catch radius, you can imagine why he's become one of Canada's most dangerous weapons on the offensive side of the ball.

As another player who had the chance to showcase himself at the CFC Top 100 game, Goupil was without a doubt the best player on the field hauling in a TD on route to a 100+ yard receiving game with 5 receptions. The film lines up with everything you hear about the kid. Large catch radius, very adaptable in the air, catches everything and is also able to get up and over every defender he meets.

Goupil is a class of 2025 prospect and currently possesses no U.S offers but I expect when he sends out this past seasons film, it's going to catch fire quick. The biggest critique will definitely be towards his route running. As one can imagine he's does not have the pop of breaking out of his cuts that a 5'11 reciever would have. At the next level it will definitely be fine tuned but all the intangibles are there. Goupil will be playing this upcoming season at College of Charle-Lemoyne in Quebec. Goupil and his team are scheduled to play against a few big schools from the Ohio area this season so he should have some D1 eyes on him come this fall.
