Let's take a look

Isiah Canion – ATH – Warner Robins

A Middle Georgia receiver who saw him recruitment take off this spring, it's easy to see why the speedy Georgia Tech receiver was added to the latest 2024 update. Not only was he added, but the true do-it-all athlete made a big jump up the rankings and now sits at No. 31 overall in the peach state. Canion is one of the biggest deep threat in the area with plenty of size at 6-foot-3 190-pounds. An excellent athlete, the former Notre Dame commit can line up at quarterback, wide receiver, or in thee secondary. He's coming off an impressive junior season where he showed big-play ability on a consistent basis, especially when he was catching passes. He's fast enough to get behind the secondary with ease with the ability to make a tough catch in traffic. He's a promising route-runner, dangerous after the catch, and will only get better as a senior this fall for an excellent Warner Robins squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='856392' first='Kale' last='Woodburn'] - Houston County

The leading receiver for an outstanding Houston County offense, adding Woodburn was a no-brainer in the latest update. He showed last year as a junior that he's one of the top receivers in Middle Georgia, and now he's ranked as the No. 116 overall prospect in the state. He's not the biggest receiver around at just 5-foot-9 155-pounds, but he's electric with the ball in his hands. He shows great burst, acceleration, and the ability to take off for a big gain down the field. A crafty receiver, Woodburn is a game-changer in the open field with enough speed to out-run most defenders. He's an easy option in the screen and short-passing game, but he also gives big-time quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='321465' first='Antwann' last='Hill'] Jr. a big weapon down the field. As a junior last year, Woodburn brought his "A" game very Friday night, and ended the season with 67 receptions for 1,044 yards and 13 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='896602' first='Ricky' last='Johnson'] - Houston County

Another playmaking receiver at Houston County, Johnson is a quick, twitchy wideout committed to Stanford, making it easy to add him to the 2024 rankings, not coming in at No. 151 in the state. Of course, if he continues to develop and has a big senior season, that ranking could climb well into the top-100. A sure-handed receiver, Johnson has a knack for eluding defenders after the catch. The Houston County Bear shows shows consistent hands, but his ability to elude defenders after the catch has made him a breakout receiver in the area and across the 2024 class. He shows great burst and speed after the catch, so if there's room to run, he'd going to fly defenders to the end-zone. As a junior last fall, Johnson caught 53 passes for 840 yards and an impressive 11 touchdowns. Look for Johnson to have a gigantic senior season this upcoming fall for a Houston County team looking to make a deep playoff run.

Jeremy Bell – Clinch County

A South Georgia receiver who earned a new ranking, Jeremy Bell is an explosive wideout from Clinch County that for some reason, is still flying under the radar. Prep Redzone just made him the No. 153 prospect in the state for the 2024 class, and it's because his easy D1-caliber talent was easy to notice last season. Thee 6-foot-1 175-pounder with electric 4.45 speed in the 40-yard dash. Bell really knows how to run. He also knows how to reel in the football, making 31 catches for an eye-opening 742 yards and 10 touchdowns last year. He's someone who plays bigger than his size who can get up in the air and catch the ball at it's highest point. He shows good footwork, he's quick off the line, and has a knack for finding his way behind defenses. He looks the part of a D1 receiver and played like one last year for Clinch County.
