The Parkland Trojans are coming off a very good 2022 season in which they went 9-5, including 5-4 in the Eastern Pennsylvania league. After an up-and-down regular season, the Trojans would go on a quick playoff run that saw them win the District 11 title over Freedom but would be defeated one week later by St. Joes Prep. Had a very good offense that averaged 32.9 points per game while the defense allowed 19.3 points per contest.

Historically a very good program, one of the best in the Lehigh Valle. Has been very under head coach Tim Moncman who took over the program in 2016. Under Moncman, the Trojans have won nine or more games five times.

2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id='558458' first='Luke' last='Spang']

Spang is a senior quarterback with good size at 6-foot-1 and around 180-185 pounds. Showed good accuracy as a junior, completing 63% of his passes for 2,094 yards and 18 touchdowns. Doesn't throw too many interceptions either, throwing just 5 over 211 passing attempts a year ago. Can throw on the run quite well. Has good arm strength with a good spiral as well can place the ball at all levels of the field, and throws with good anticipation quite consistently as well.

2024 RB [player_tooltip player_id='164518' first='Trey' last='Tremba']

Tremba is one of the best running backs in District II and has good size, speed, and athleticism. Shows a good immediate burst to his game as well as patience and vision, allowing holes to open up for him before bursting through them. He has good open-field athleticism and sometimes has another great that he can find. Won't be a home run hitter every time he touches the ball, but he is a consistently strong running back who will pick you up valuable yardage at a consistent rate.

2024 WR [player_tooltip player_id='377917' first='Jendel' last='Sanchez']

Not a ton of highlights from last year are available for Sanchez, but he is an intriguing prospect at 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds. Shows good athleticism both as a wide receiver and defensive back. Runs quality routes and finds ways to gain separation. Great field and body awareness as well - good hand-eye coordination with a quality catch radius as well.

2024 SS [player_tooltip player_id='558360' first='Nolan' last='Coen']

Nice safety prospect here with quality size and length (5-foot-11, 170 pounds) and athleticism (4.7 forty-yard dash). Very good football IQ and shows the ability to be an asset both against the pass and in supplying extra help against the run. Very good closing speed in an attempt to break up passes or pick balls off. Quality prospect to keep an eye on this fall.

2025 WR [player_tooltip player_id='288388' first='Omar' last='Moawad']

Again a prospect with not a ton of film from last season, but the height is something that immediately stands out about the 2025 prospect. Stands in at 6-foot-2 / 6-foot-3 and just around the 175-185 mark. His earlier film showed a wide receiver with quite a bit of upside, a quality route runner with long strides and decent speed. Uses his size to his advantage and has a good catch radius. Hard to say where he is in his game based on his limited tape from last year but will be someone we hope to see closer this fall.

2025 WR [player_tooltip player_id='893826' first='Connor' last='Johns']

Johns has great size at a reported 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds but also is a very good athlete with a reported 4.56 fort-yard dash and a 4.13 shuttle. Johns is a good route runner and has a nice burst off the line of scrimmage to his game; he is able to get quality separation on a consistent basis and shows strong ball-tracking skills. Strong hands with good body and field awareness and shows the ability to make tough, contested catches. An intriguing prospect who could rise up our rankings with a strong junior season.

Additional names to know:

2024 LB Jake Beidelman

2024 OL/DL Russell Clark

2024 C [player_tooltip player_id='1054358' first='Kale' last='Kumernitsky']

2025 ATH Preston Mertz
Have information regarding a prospect or team that you believe would be useful for us to know?
