Ben Burgey, OL, 2025 – Ben is a very good rising Junior standing 6’2 and weighing 240 with room to grow. He has flexibility in his stance and his technique in the run and pass is advanced. He comes off the snap low and hard with good hand placement. He violently punches up and through the defenders. He keeps a good base and moves his feet through the whistle. On outside run he moves well laterally and covers up DL. He downblocks with tenacity and gets after it. His pass blocking is superb. He has good posture, punch, and foot alignment. He keeps his shoulders square and is quick to stop the inside rush. Give him a good look on film.
St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, Ohio)
Ty Neubert Ty Neubert 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL St. Francis DeSales | 2025 State OH , DL, 2025 – Ty has started for 2 years now and is one of the best DL in Central Ohio. He plays the interior and is an imposing force. He is fast, physical, and athletic. He is very twitchy and comes off the snap like lightning. He gets his hands in the right spot and rocks OL. He rips and sheds quickly in his gaps on ball too. On ball away he runs down the LOS with his hair on fire. He has great leverage on the ball at all times. He is a great pass rusher using the push pull move to perfection. He is very quick at closing space and bends well back to the QB. Ty is a sure fire D1 player.
Beavercreek (Dayton Area)
Reid Frick, OL, 2024 – Reid is a very good center. He is a bit undersized but uses his exceptional strength and technique to dominate DL. He snaps and punches well with good foot width. He keeps his feet moving and hits on the rise. His drive blocks move defenders off the ball. He can cover defenders up laterally and continue to run his feet. In the pass game he keeps good posture, proper foot placement, and moves his feet well. He is very tough to bull rush on and quick enough to handle moves right or left. Take a look at him on film.
Northwood
Brandon Mielke Brandon Mielke 5'11" | 200 lbs | QB Northwood | 2024 OH , QB, 2024 – Brandon is a do it all athlete for Northwood. He is a QB first but also excels on defense and specials. At QB he has a live arm and can make all the throws with zip on the ball. He has good accuracy and mechanics. He stands tall in the pocket and can take a hit. He evades the rush well and keeps his eyes down the field. On defense he reads plays well in at the LB position. He triggers fast on the run and makes tackles with proper leverage. He gets over the top quickly with leverage and keeps the ball carrier inside and in front. His pass drops are clean with good head swivel cancelling the underneath routes. Keep an eye on him this season.
St. Vincent/St. Mary
Donovan Elder, DL, 2024 – Donovan is a high motor player with good size and quickness. He explodes off the snap and locksout with proper gap integrity. He has good eye discipline and keeps them in the backfield. He makes tough tackles and runs his hips through. He plays the ball quickly down the LOS. His pass rush is developed with a good bull rush collapsing the pocket. His grades are very good and appears to be a high character person.
