Jon Chaney, OL/DL, 2024 – Jon is a beast on both sides of the ball. He stands at 6’2 and weighs in at 250. He is a strong player with good hand quickness and flexibility. On offense he lines up at guard. He drive blocks with aggression and keeps the feet moving. He can cover up defenders quickly laterally. He stonewalls the DL with good pass posture and punch. His best attribute is his pulling ability leading the RB’s to the second and third levels with tenacity. On defense he plays the interior and dominates at times. He maintains his gaps, reads plays well with eyes in backfield, and is quick on ball away. His pass rush is ferocious with good pocket push and bend. He has been to some big time camps this summer and will get a good look.
Springboro
Jaxon Long, WR/DB, 2026 – Jaxon is a stud. He had 65 catches on the year for almost 1000 yards and 7 interceptions. He is one of the best players on the field on both sides of the ball. At FS commands the middle of the field. He reads plays well and stays deep. He plays underneath routes with aggression and through the hands of the receivers. He attacks the ball in the air and has the ability to bring interceptions back for 6. He triggers fast in the run game and is a solid tackler. At WR he plays way beyond his years. He has good takeoff against both man and zone coverage. He runs good deep routes and snaps off well on intermediate and short routes. He jumps over DB’s to win the catch and gets down the field quickly. He blocks well and takes pride in it. Great football player who is going to be awesome for the next three years.
Walsh Jesuit (Akron)
Colt Crosley, OL, 2026 – Colt is a freshman who played Varsity this year. He stands 6’3 and weighs 250 with massive room to grow. He is strong and very physical. On offense he plays tackle and gets after it. He is flexible in his stance and fires off the ball quickly. He punches up and through the defenders with a good base and keeps his feet chopping. He is a good down blocker with proper head placement and drive. He moves quickly laterally and covers up defenders on outside runs. On defense he plays on the interior and plugs up his gaps. He is tough to move because of his strength and pad level. He is a good bull rusher and moves the interior back. Keep an eye on him, he is going to be a good one.
Villa Angela St. Joseph
Max Gembus, Center, 2025 – Max is fun to watch because he plays with his hair on fire and with physicality. He has an advanced snap and punch. He keeps a wide base and active feet in his drive blocks. Moves defenders back and had many pancakes this season. He is a good outside zone blocker and covers defenders with his feet and runs well for leverage. In the pass game he maintains a flat back, good posture, violent punch and good wide base. He moves his feet well and can defeat the bull rush from the interior. Takes on blitzers physically without giving up ground. Deserving of a good look on film and will garner more interest in the off season.
Ross (Hamilton, Ohio)
Blake Holmes Blake Holmes 6'1" | 280 lbs | OL Ross | 2025 OH , OL/DL, 2025 – Blake is a two way starter and carries a 3.2 GPA. He plays both Tackle and DE with his hair on fire. His film jumps out from the start. At Tackle he is quick and athletic. He runs off the ball and violently punches defenders and drives them off the ball aggressively. He punches up and through with a good wide base and keeps his feet moving until the whistle. He is a great at doubles and times up the get off well to the LB. He runs his feet well and covers up defenders on outside run well. His pass blocking will continue to get better the older he gets. At DL he wreaks havoc in the backfield. He maintains his gaps, has a violent lockout, moves well in the stunt game, and rushes the passer relentlessly. Excited to see his growth over the off season and beyond.
