Although this camp is for quarterbacks, we have been blessed to see some great receivers show up two years in a row. I saw some juice receivers at this showcase. These guys are the ones who make it easier for their quarterbacks. Let's check it out.

Chanse Funchess, Simpson County Academy, 2025

Funchess is a guy that has some great talent. I love the way he goes up to get the football. Funchess is a nice basketball player that uses his skills from basketball in football. He attacks the football with his hands. I think that Funchess could be better in his route running. On some routes he need to dip those hips. He has some good speed. He even moves around laterally very well. I'll be sure to keep up with him. He can easily be mentioned with some of the best receivers in the 2025 class.

Tyler Arrington, Wingfield, 2024

Arrington is always showing off that great speed. He is becoming a lot better at his route running. Arrington also has some very good hands. He is a guy that is on the radar for a lot of division one schools. Yesterday, he showed some great things. He will be a division one prospect one day soon. He already has interests from division one programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='344148' first='Damari' last='Jefferson'], Oak Grove, 2024

Jefferson is a guy we were able to get eyes on last year at this event. He was very impressive then and was impressive this year. Jefferson is a nice route runner with great hands. Jefferson also has some good speed. He is a guy that we all need to be keeping up with. He isn't the biggest prospect, but he is a polished player.

Sanfrisco Magee, McComb, 2024

Magee is a big boy that has started to add some finesse to his game. We know Magee for going up to get the head ball. He has been working hard on becoming more than just a star on the deep ball. He was very smooth running his routes at the UTL Showcase. Magee has some decisions to make soon. Keep your eyes out for that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225021' first='Mario' last='Snell'], Wingfield, 2025

Snell showed up ready to give his quarterback. He is a very fast receiver who is starting to become a better route runner. Snell has some nice hands. He is going to have a chance to showcase his talent a lot this season.

Tristan Burns, 2026

Burns was very impressive at the showcase. He is a super talented athlete. Burns has a twitch about him that helps him always get open. He was very impressive running drills. Burns knows how to dip those hips when he is changing directions. He also has some nice hands. He is a guy to know.
