It was a fun day on the Mississippi State Campus. A lot of guys came out to compete. Some where there looking for offers. Some were there to show the coaches they didn't make a bad choice by pulling the trigger.

Dillon Alfred, WR, Gautier, 2025

Alfred did well enough to leave with an offer yesterday. The 2025 four-star wide receiver was very deadly with his route running. He was also showing off those good hands. Him and Coach Chad Bumphis formed a nice relationship yesterday. Miss State may be a favorite on Alfred's list from here on out.

KaMario Taylor, QB, Noxubee Co, 2025

Taylor is another prospect that left Starkville with an offer yesterday. He was one of the best quarterbacks that showed up. He was throwing some missiles yesterday. Taylor has some developing to do, but the tools are obviously there. More work this off-season is going to help keep his stock on the rise.

Chris Jones, LB, Hartfield Academy, 2024

Jones also showed up ready to compete yesterday. He didn't leave with an offer, but he was very impressive. The four-star has been on a tear as of late. He has truly been on the grind to show schools he will continue to improve. Jones is a baller that plays the game with a high motor and intelligence. His stock will rise soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='205475' first='Ty' last='Rupe'], TE, 2025, Grand Oaks (Tex)

Rupe is one of the best tight ends I have seen in the 2025 class. I was very impressed with this young man yesterday. He does a great job of making himself a big target. If the ball comes his way, he wants to come down with it. Rupe is very long with decent speed. He has soft hands and runs good routes. He's going to be able to make an early impact in college if he continues to improve. He is going to have a lot of offers coming his way.
