Zach Cody Zach Cody 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Coppell | 2024 State TX -Defensive Back-Coppell-6’0” 175-Pounds-2024
The Coppell defensive back has started the offseason off with a bang. Cody had the opportunity to open plenty of eyes at the SMU Camp in Dallas a few days ago. He displayed an ability to lock down opposing wide receivers and cause plenty of problems in one-on-one competition. The impressive performance at the Dallas camp was just the tip of the iceberg for Cody this week. Cody earned scholarship offers from Kent State, Washington State, and Howard this week.
Tristan Johnson Tristan Johnson 6'3" | 260 lbs | DL L.D. Bell | 2024 State TX -Defensive Line-Bell-6’3” 260-Pounds-2024
Tristan Johnson Tristan Johnson 6'3" | 260 lbs | DL L.D. Bell | 2024 State TX had the opportunity to open plenty of eyes during the SMU Camp a few days ago. Johnson was able to put his speed and ability to get into the opposing offensive backfield quickly. After a strong performance at the mega camp, Johnson earned scholarship offers from Arizona State, Sam Houston State, Louisiana Tech, UNLV, Texas State, Harvard, and Wyoming. Johnson is setting the stage for a big senior season in 2023.
Jaylen Brazzle-Athlete-Weiss-5’10” 165-Pounds-2024
Looking at the offensive side of the ball, Jaylen Brazzle is a wide receiver that mixes excellent route running with tremendous speed. He displayed the ability to stretch the field deep and haul in receptions. After several impressive camp performances, Brazzle earned a scholarship offer from Mary Hardin-Baylor. Brazzle is setting the stage for a strong senior season, and I expect him to rack up more scholarship offers over the next few weeks.
Markus Boswell Markus Boswell 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Lake Travis | 2024 State TX -Linebacker-Lake Travis-6’1” 205-Pounds-2024
The Dallas Mega-Camp that SMU and TCU hosted gave prospects an opportunity to get in front of plenty of college scouts. Boswell did a great job of displaying his coverage abilities a few days ago. He drops back into coverage well and is not afraid to play the football aggressively. However, Boswell made the trip up to Kansas State to get some work finished in front of the Kansas State coaching staff. Boswell is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.
Madden Morgan Madden Morgan 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Houston Episcopal | 2026 State TX -Linebacker-Episcopal-6’2” 220-Pounds-2026
The Oklahoma Sooners always seems to be recruiting talented linebackers and that is definitely when it comes to Madden Morgan Madden Morgan 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Houston Episcopal | 2026 State TX . Morgan put his soft hands-on display and showed that he has the ability to take a pass the opposite direction. He has the speed to cause problems for opposing offensive lineman. Morgan had an extremely strong camp and, in the process, set the bar high for this upcoming season. Morgan will be in Austin this upcoming season to attempt to open some eyes.
