Many schools will be competing each week throughout the DMV at their beautiful facilities. The Huskies were gracious hosts to everyone in attendance. I was their today and hope to be their each week, below are a few guys who stood out.
Interviewed this young man a couple of months ago when he was finishing up with Centreville. Since then his family and him made the decision to transfer to John Champe, another big shakeup in the commonwealth. It was good to see him do his thing and being in a pass friendly offense will be a nice opportunity for this kid to receive more attention. This dude will turn heads come fall and with guys like Greg Spiller to target, you know he will adjust just fine.
Highlights
Cam Petrey
Cam Petrey
Was excited to see Petrey in person for the first time and he was on a mission. If you have watched him play you know the kid is a crisp route runner who knows how to bail his offense out. Whenever Resto needed a big play he was turning to this dude and for good reason, he was always open. The kid makes plays and will make any FCS school very happy. Don’t believe me, check out his tape below, he is the real deal.

Speaking of shakeups former Falls Church standout QB Caleb West Caleb West 6’7″ | 220 lbs | QB Flint Hill | 2025 State VA has enrolled into Flint Hill and was making his presence known this afternoon. Profiled him back in January and he is just as big in person as he is on tape. West can sling and has a effortless motion that adjusting to a new offense should not be a problem for him. He also has reclassified and should be one of the top Qbs in the state for 2025.
Brady Owens
Brady Owens
Keep an eye on Owens he may not light the world on fire right away but his time is coming. After watching him today and learning about his strong family tree, I expect to see him make an impact sooner rather than later. Owens knows how to create space in his routes and his size and frame will make him a reliable target come fall.

Michael Clarke
Michael Clarke
While Resto, Spiller and Petrey will get a lot of attention, we cannot forget about Clarke as he was on point today. With Spiller being sidelined today Clarke was a go to for the Knights, making plays at running back and receiver. A speedy slot back he may have been the fastest kid their today but don’t quote me. Clarke will have more opportunities to stand out all summer, if today was any indication, he will not be forgotten.
