Archie Carruthers Archie Carruthers 6’3″ | 255 lbs | DL SLUH | 2024 State MO is a decorated rugby player who also has a chance to play defensive end in college. Archie has been to camps all over the country and also holds an offer from William Jewell College. Expect more regional offers to come in before it comes time for Archie to commit.
Archie’s good football IQ shows quickly identifying halfback screens in his vicinity. Archie’s good closing speed, tackling ability, and fluid change of direction shows pursuing scrambling quarterbacks as an edge rusher. Range, strength, and good hand technique highlight Archie’s potential to be versatile run defender at the next level.
Highlights
Jeremy Anderson
Jeremy Anderson
Jeremy Anderson is a rock in the middle of Rock Bridge’s defense. Jeremy holds offers from Central Methodist and Evangel University. He also attended a camp at Lindenwood and plans to compete at another local camp at SEMO in July. Watch out for Jeremy’s recruitment to pick up before his senior season ends.
Jeremy shows next level strength in an anchor that allows him to split double teams without giving ground at the line of scrimmage. A good combination of range and quickness shows slipping blockers and tackling ball carriers with space to work with in the backfield. Jeremy’s athleticism, hand technique, and power give him the potential to be a versatile interior pass rusher at the next level.
Jax Fosnow Jax Fosnow 6’3″ | 200 lbs | DL Lee’s Summit West | 2024 State MO is a three-sport athlete for Lee’s Summit West. Jax has visited Northern Iowa and Central Missouri this year. Look for his first offer to come from a school within the region sooner rather than later.
Jax shows outside linebacker versatility in his awareness guarding the flat and good tackling ability displayed finishing scrambling quarterbacks in the open field. Next level strength gets displayed when Jax holds his ground versus bigger blockers in the run game before finishing tackles behind the line of scrimmage. A good combination of length, burst, lateral quickness, and strength in his hands highlight Jax’s ability to be a number one pass rusher at the next level.
Jayden Antonelli
Jayden Antonelli
Jayden Antonelli is a high rising defensive prospect out of Nixa, Missouri. Jayden holds offers from Wayne State, Northwest Missouri State, Missouri Western State, and Butler University. After attending a camp at Nebraska, Jayden has more offers on the way according to his Twitter account. Expect the talented pass rusher to have a long list of scholarships before his time comes to graduate next year.
Jayden’s range and next level burst shows tracking down toss plays for tackles for loss. Speed rusher potential shows in a rare combination of length, lateral quickness, and hand technique Jayden shows beating tackles off the edge. Jayden’s instincts, tackling ability, and athletic change of direction give him a chance to play end in both a 3 and 4 man front in college.
Eltoum Murgus Eltoum Murgus 6’4″ | 200 lbs | DL North Kansas City | 2024 State MO is a state track champion who has a future terrorizing quarterbacks. Eltoum currently holds eight different division one scholarship offers. Although he has experience playing inside and outside linebacker, look for the good-sized pass rusher to be a full-time defensive end in college.
Eltoum’s next level burst shows pursuing ball carriers as an unblocked defender from a backside outside linebacker alignment. Eltoum shows good effort and closing speed pursuing speedy ball carriers down the sideline. Eltoum shows a good combination of size, athleticism, and power running through receivers as a man defender in the slot. Good instincts show consistently finding the ball quickly in the run game. Eltoum’s length and acceleration displayed as an edge rusher highlight his potential to be a game wrecker at the next level.
