<p>Village Christian is led by returning sophomore quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='780346' first='Chase' last='Everett']</strong> who threw for 2490 yards with 26 touchdowns as a freshman. <strong>Ryan Dellutri</strong> is a receiver to keep an eye on for Village Christian as well as <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='723873' first='Tyes' last='Mccondichie']</strong>.</p>

<p>San Dimas went 5-2 on the day with a loss in the opening game to Diamond Bar and a loss in the finals to Village Christian. They redeemed themselves by beating Diamond Bar in the semifinals.</p>

<p>According to coach <strong>Mark Holman</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='976898' first='Julian' last='Vigil']</strong> had six or seven interceptions on defense and also had a big day on offense. Running back <strong>Caleb Morquecho</strong> and tight end <strong>Robert Alvarez</strong> also had big days on offense. Quarterback <strong>Jacob Gonzalez</strong> progressed and improved as the day went on.</p>

<p>Defensively, defensive backs <strong>Drew Fierro</strong> and <strong>Brian Jackson</strong> performed well along with linebacker <strong>Roque Dominguez</strong>.</p>

<p>The unquestioned MVP of the day for Diamond Bar was junior receiver and defensive back <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1158519' first='Brian' last='Vu']</strong> who had eight touchdowns and five interceptions. According to coach <strong>Matt Castaneda</strong>, tight end <strong>Luis Vasquez</strong> was a matchup nightmare for opposing teams at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds.</p>

According to Maxie, quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='406672' first='Jacob' last='Garcia']</strong> had a nice day. Two athletes <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='234471' first='Caleb' last='Calvin']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='976879' first='Arion' last='Lang']</strong> were standouts along with receiver <strong>Elvis Diaz</strong>.</p>
