Isaiah Savoie Isaiah Savoie 5’11” | 175 lbs | RB Red Mountain | 2024 State AZ is a two-year starter for Apache Junction with 48 touchdowns. At 5’11 185 pounds, Savoie is electric in the open field. He displays the elusiveness to make players miss while having the speed to break away from defenders. He is a physical runner who is not afraid of contact and keeps his legs moving, making him tough to tackle. His vision and balance help him use jump cuts to find openings when running in a power scheme. With the production and skill set, he brings to the table, Saovie is a prime candidate to rise nationally in his senior season.
Kendre Pride Kendre Pride 6’2″ | 180 lbs | RB Carl Hayden | 2024 State AZ helped lead Carl Hayden to a historic season in 2022. His speed is unique, and he is one of the fastest running backs in the 2024 class. Pride has great vision and understanding of leverage reading blockers. It allows him to be decisive when finding holes and use his burst to hit holes at full speed. In the passing game, Pride exhibits the hands to make tough catches and can separate on a seam and out routes out of the backfield. With a chance to get more exposure at a bigger school this fall, Pride could make some noise with his size, speed, and athleticism.
Jordan Blake Jordan Blake 5’9″ | 175 lbs | RB Skyline | 2024 State AZ is a 5’9 175 pounds running back from Skyline high school who ran for 1572 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2022. Blake is the definition of a home run hitter with blazing speed. He has excellent acceleration and bursts through holes, allowing him to create big plays when he finds a crease. His vision and patience enable blocks to develop and help him find holes and hit them at top speed. Blake’s elusiveness and wiggle make him a brutal tackle in the open field. His athleticism and agility shine on film as he can make defenders miss in space, forcing missed tackles when rushing the football. Blake is up for another massive season at Skyline that could raise his stock as a prospect.
Junior St Cyr 5″10 210, pound running back who ran for over 1000 yards for Mesa High School. St Cyr is a bruiser who is not afraid of contact and willing to take on tackles. This comes into play in short yardage, where St Cyr can use his size to help move the chains and score touchdowns in the red zone. He has shiftiness for his size, where he can jump-cut through holes and find openings in the line. His change of direction displays his athleticism and allows him to cut on a dime and get upfield. It helps forced miss tackles in space and turns into enormous plays for the offense. St Cyr will intrigue teams with his big body and athleticism.
Gabe Ricketts Gabe Ricketts 6’0″ | 220 lbs | RB Bradshaw Mountain | 2024 State AZ is a 6’0 220, pound running back from Bradshaw Mountain. He ran for over 1500 yards in 2023 as the full-time running back. Ricketts is a boulder in the open field, with defenders bouncing off him when attempting to bring him down. Defenders need help getting their hands on him and displaying athleticism to dodge tackles in space. He has a long speed at this size that allows him to break away from defenders. As a blocker in pass protection, he consistently picks up blitzes and free rushers, giving the quarterback time to throw the football. Ricketts is flying under the radar but can play at the next level.
