Continue ReadingWolfer has good length and frame for the position, and offers some position versatility along the front and has already picked up a few offers already. He was offered by Air Force, Mercer and Weber State and should continue to see offers roll in through his final prep season and checks in inside our top ten rankings at the position. On tape, he is a natural bender and snaps out if his stance with a heavy punch and can block in space, takes good angles to the second level and has patient hands and feet in pass protection with solid lateral movement abilities.
Highlights
Tappin is coming off a solid Junior season where he showed terrific athleticism, movement abilities and blocking versatility in the screen game, pass protection and when pulling/blocking in-between the tackles. He is a aggressive heavy handed mauler that plays with a strong base and high football IQ when picking up pressures and twists in the box and is a no brainer next level kid that checks in inside our top ten rankings at the offensive line position.
Haeckel has had a busy Spring and picked up offers from USD and recently NAU, with other Big Sky schools most likely not too far behind on offering him as well. He is a still developing player but has the ideal frame and size for the next level at the guard position and shows he can play both tackle and guard at the high school level. Haeckel wins with a solid initial strike, his pure size and a strong/balanced base at the POA while showing a nasty finish downfield and can block rush ends/linebackers with ease. Still working on flexibility and hand placement/snapping out of his stance, he is one of the better offensive line prospects across the state and has legit size for the D-I level.
