(Withrow) 6’2 190- Harris is an offseason transfer to the Withrow Tigers. I was able to get a chance to see DeJuan live at the Fairfield 7v7. The first thing you notice is his combination of size and athleticism. He’s a guy who’s going to be able to fit in both run and pass downs. Harris has loose hips paired with good change of direction skills for a player of his size. Beyond the athleticism he has really good ball skills. Unlike many he does a great job of playing the ball rather than the man. He had PBU’s and an INT in the time that I was watching. He mirrors and then displays a strong break on the ball. As he continues to add good weight and strength, he’ll be good in run fits and a threat to blitz at any time. He plays with an edge and is a good communicator on the field. On a team that has loads of talent he’s not one that has gotten talked about, but definitely has high G5 if not P5 potential.

(Glenville) 6’4 230- I had a chance to see Jameil live at the Falcon Football Camp at Bowling Green State University and I love what I saw from the incoming junior. I saw Hamm at Ohio State last June, and he’s made a lot of strides both athletically and explosively over the last year. First off, Jameil passes the look test. He boasts a 6’4 frame with long arms and an athletic build with the room to add good weight. Off the edge he shows good explosiveness and bend to win the edge. His technique is still work in progress, but as he begins to tighten that up, he’s going to be a very difficult player to block. Jameil even moved down to the 3 tech and showed the versatility and ability to get easy penetration from the inside. Jameil currently holds a handful of G5 offers, but as he continues to develop both in skill and physically, he’s a player who could really start to burst onto the P5 radar.

2024 ATH Andre Jackson (Whitehall Yearling) 6’3 180- Jackson was tipped off to me by a friend in Central Ohio who’s a track and football guy. Jackson is an interesting blend of speed and length. As a legit sub 4.5 guy, his speed is a problem. He’s an offensive weapon that Yearling used in many ways. He’s an interesting projection as he lined up at both running back, and in the wildcat. His long frame and speed suggest wide receiver at the next level. That being said he doesn’t have film at the wr position to evaluate his route running ability and skills as a wide receiver. Which leads me to say, he looks most comfortable is at running back and out of the backfield. He shows a good burst and vision and ability to use blockers in the running game. With his speed, he’s a threat to take it to the house any time he touches the ball. He’s also a big play guy in the return game. If he has solid route running skills, I definitely believe he’ll be a wide receiver gadget player at the next level. If wide receiver isn’t a comfortable position for him, (I might be in the minority with this) but with added weight and work on his lateral explosiveness I’d be very interested to see how he could develop as a running back. So I’m very interested to see his senior film. Jackson is getting interests from D2 to G5.

Vince Luce

Canfield | 2024

(Canfield) 6’3 285- Luce has been a key cog on the offensive line of small school power Canfield. He’s a stout 6’3 285. While Vince has lined up at mostly offensive tackle for the Cardinals I project him to the interior offensive line at the college level. I could easily see him as a center or a guard, with maybe his highest value being at the center position. He anchors well and is really strong at the point of attack. He has the feet and balance to be a strong blocker in pass pro. He plays with heavy and violent hands that can stalemate a good bull rush. He also has quick hands he uses to direct and redirect blockers. Vince has D2 offers and D1 FCS interest.

(Glenville) 6’6 220- Najwan is another player I got to see at the Bowling Green football camp. Due to a loaded Glenville team and offensive line he hasn’t really seen varsity action. He currently has a very long, but slender frame. He has a lot of work to continue to add good weight. That being said, he possesses elite athleticism and bend traits. He’s very natural in his line stance and his get-off. He shows a good strength to weight ratio. Smithwick has an explosive punch with great hip flexion. He has plus, plus athleticism. Najwan has quick feet that he uses to shut down the speed rush. He trusts his athleticism to not overset and shut off outside-in moves. His strength and leverage plays well even in situations where he gives up large weight discrepancies to defenders. With his athleticism and foot speed he’s going to be a really good run blocker. Najwan, is a player I’m going to be keeping a very close eye on. Depending on his physical development I think he has a P5 ceiling. Stay tuned with this young man!
