Parma Western Key Returning Players For 2023

He bench presses 305 lbs, squats 400 lbs and deadlifts 435 lbs. I love the relentless pursuit he plays will. Williams is a physical tackler who does a great job of wrapping up and making sure ball carriers can't break the tackles. Williams has very good acceleration and it really helps him to close on ball carriers. His acceleration certainly shows up when he is carrying the ball at running back. He has good overall speed as well and can break 40-plus yard runs for touchdowns. Williams is an outstanding competitor and is definitely a difference maker for <strong>Parma Western.</strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Landon Heavy-LB-<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2JycwV">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Heavy is all always flying around making tackles for Western. He is very quick to read a play is going and then running to make a tackle. Heavy moves side to side very well and it helps him to work through traffic. Heavy has good burst and does a good job of combining it with proper angles to get to close on ball carriers quickly. I love that Heavy is always work to stay in a low athletic position where he can effectively take on blockers on make a good form tackle. I am a fan of Heavy's game and expect him to be flying all over the field once again in 2023. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Gibson French-LB/RB-<a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15095612/6363aff168902e08a0640c72">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Western</strong> coaching staff should be excited with the depth they have at running back and linebacker. French is another outstanding linebacker who also will carry the football. French plays very aggressive at linebacker. He has good burst and it really helps him pursue ball carriers. He has good speed and can run sideline to sideline. French shows high level competitive toughness. French's burst shows up when he comes downhill to fill gaps at linebacker. Like is teammate, <strong>Landon Heavy</strong>, French does a great job of working through traffic. He shows the ability to quickly turn his body and make plays on the football. VanRiper can get open down field at the receiver position and can come down with contested catches. Teachout is a good athlete who does show the ability to drop into coverage. Teachout has good strength and can hold the point of attack against offensive lineman. Teachout can be asked to set the edge on the outside. He is a good tackler who does a good job of wrapping up. I like the physicality he plays with and I believe he will have another good season for <strong>Western </strong>in 2023. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
