Continue ReadingQuakertown’s man under center, Vincent Micucci Vincent Micucci 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Quakertown | 2024 State PA , is beginning to see some early collegiate attention in the form of offers. Earlier this month, the 6’2, 195-pound passer and punter picked up his first offer out of Ithaca College. Ithaca was present at the BUX-MONT Showcase, clearly liking what they saw from Micucci. I did as well, awesome chiseled-out build combined with a tight compact delivery. Believe it or not, I haven’t seen Micucci or Quakertown live, I plan to do so this coming Fall. Miccuci should be on radar for D2s in the area.
Kaden Sarver
Kaden Sarver
Excited to get this young man ranked and represented on the site among his quarterback peers. What’s even more exciting is seeing Waynesburg pull the trigger on Sarver back in May. Sarver’s skillset should cement his chance to play at this level, yet we see these types of prospects explode during a senior campaign, often seeing these offers snowball into more opportunities. For right now, the big-bodied passer and lacrosse prospect will be happy with any potential suitors. I wish I could get out to a North Catholic game despite the distance. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this kid get attention from local D2s.
We at Prep Redzone are all too familiar with Daniel Boone’s Dean Rotter Dean Rotter 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Daniel Boone | 2024 State PA . Back in March, Rotter received his first opportunity at next-level ball, getting a call from Wright State University. Things have been relatively quiet since then, yet the young man is still putting in work and hitting the camp scene hard. He’ll be at Slippery Rock by the time this releases, then Fordham and Towson later in July. I respect that he’s attending camps near his future level, not wasting time hitting Power Five camps. All quarterbacks have room to grow, I’m excited to see what kind of senior passer we see at Daniel Boone this Fall.
The book has been written on Quentin Goode Quentin Goode 5’11” | 165 lbs | QB Aliquippa | 2024 State PA , two to three times over at this point. Produces and leads a State-Championship level program. Aliquippa will more than likely continue to prove doubters wrong, led by a quarterback who is constantly brushing off stigmas of height/size deficiencies at the position. Watch the kid hit oppo hash out routes, watch him target wideouts downfield with accuracy. It’s lazy to diminish and toss aside a prospect like this, Waynesburg certainly hasn’t. The program offered Goode back in April.
One of my favorite quarterbacks in Pennsylvania, the first prospect on this list with two offers to his name, one from Waynesburg and one from Westminster College. 3.8 GPA to his name, incredible athlete, one who improvises well when sets don’t go according to plan. Not sure if Kabron Smith Kabron Smith 5’9″ | 170 lbs | QB Farrell | 2024 State PA is open to a potential position change at the next level, I know one thing for sure, his athletic ability will always leave that door open for him. The more open doors the better. His senior season is loading, I expect to watch a loaded tape in November.
6’2, 175 pounds, Waynesburg, who has offered many in this list, was the first to pull the trigger on South Fayette Quarterback Nico Lamonde Nico Lamonde 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB South Fayette | 2024 State PA . Lamonde was offered earlier this month, with Lamonde hoping this opportunity snowballs into others moving forward. We ranked Nico Lamonde Nico Lamonde 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB South Fayette | 2024 State PA inside the top 25 at his position, squarely placing him among other D2-graded prospects. Lamonde should gain confidence and view this as further validation of his skills. Continuing to develop could lead to big opportunities in Western PA.
