The coverage continuation of the Broncos 7-on-7 tournament from Saturday shifts the focus to ten players who stood out on offense at the event, eight of whom are in addition to the names listed in the original recap.
Kullen Lerma Kullen Lerma 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Legacy | 2024 State CO | Legacy | 2024 QB
Lerma is an impressive athlete who put on an outstanding performance against a talented Legend secondary on Saturday. He has a strong arm and accurate ball placement on intermediate and deep routes. He threw a deep pass toward the back left corner of the end zone that could not have fallen in a more perfect spot during the match. Lerma will definitely be a player to keep an eye on as he helps to lead a powerful Legacy team this fall.
Mason Moreno | Columbine | 2024 RB/DB/ATH
Moreno is a do-all athlete whose instincts, athleticism, and high IQ make him one of the more dangerous playmakers on the field at any given moment. He is a speedster that knows how to exploit a secondary when on offense or undercut routes and disrupt passes when on defense. Moreno earned two offers two days ago, reinforcing his status as a rising recruit.
Jake Jones Jake Jones QB Chatfield | 2024 State CO | Chatfield | 2024 QB
Jones landed on the radar late during his sophomore year after throwing a touchdown pass in Chatfield’s state championship win. He stood out on Saturday by making good decisions and completing impressive throws. He has solid mechanics and did a good job working through his progressions on a lot of his reps. Jones is heading into his senior year with a team that has a high ceiling, making him one to watch.
Jackson Hansen | Ralston Valley | 2024 WR/DB
Even though Hansen was mentioned in the recap article, his steady performance as a true difference-maker for the Mustangs played a significant role in Ralston Valley winning the championship. He is an elusive athlete with a perfect combination of athleticism, physicality, and competitiveness. His shiftiness makes him difficult to cover, while his fearlessness helps him attack the ball in the air in traffic and come down with the catch. Hansen had one of the more impressive performances throughout the tournament, making him one of the more prominent sleepers from the weekend.
Kaveh Meredith Kaveh Meredith WR Erie | 2024 State CO | Erie | 2024 WR/DB
Meredith is one of the more consistent standouts because of his reliability as a top performer. He has good size and athleticism, with a knack for finding ways to get open, making him a go-to target for one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. His outstanding instincts, quick reflexes, and reliable hands are just a few of the many excellent characteristics that Meredith brings to the table, placing him in the category of must-scout prospects.
Naz Benavente Naz Benavente 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Fairview | 2024 State CO | Fairview | 2024 WR/DB
Benavente is a scrappy competitor with the raw athleticism to back it up. He is a shifty route runner with explosive speed who does a fantastic job of creating space with his breaks. He also does an excellent job at working back toward the ball when it is in the air and completing the catch before the defender has a chance to make a play on the ball. Benavente is a low-flyer on the radar, primarily due to an injury that sidelined him for his entire junior season, but he possesses the potential to make a big splash for a college program.
Noah Garcia | Erie | 2024 WR/DB
Garcia has progressed immensely since moving to Colorado from Hawaii last year. He appears to play with more confidence and assertiveness, which has transformed him into a more in-tune competitor. His length and ability to lay out for the ball allowed him to show off his strong hands and wide catch radius. Garcia has shown that he can be a real down-field threat who is tough to cover, giving him a ton of upside as a prospect.
Drew Rohlman Drew Rohlman 6'3" | TE Chatfield | 2024 State CO | Chatfield | 2024 WR
Rohlman is a big receiver with impressive body control in his route running. He tracks the ball well and has a phenomenal catch radius. His size and speed give him the ability to make a defensive back uncomfortable very quickly, putting the advantage in his favor in one-on-one situations. Rohlman just received his first offer last week, putting him on the list of rising prospects.
Josh Snyder Josh Snyder RB Columbine | 2024 State CO | Columbine | 2024 RB/ATH
Snyder is an electrifying athlete who can fill the roles of a change-of-pace back or slot receiver. He does a great job of using his ability to change directions with his explosiveness to make plays when he is on the field. Snyder has continued to show that he is a special player with next-level talent.
Tyson Smith Tyson Smith QB Cherokee Trail | 2025 CO | Cherokee Trail | 2025 QB
Smith is a fairly new addition to the radar who added to his stock during the event by making multiple throws displaying impressive arm strength and accuracy. He looks to be on a path toward building a solid reputation as a prospect, especially once he gets his talents on film. Smith showed the potential to be a real difference-maker for his team, making him a watchlist player to highlight this fall.
