Continue ReadingRed Bank Catholic finished 2022 as one of the best teams in New Jersey. Going 10-2 on the season, Red Bank had a combination of senior and underclassmen talent contributing to the success. 2023 will show how much of a role the underclassmen played this past season as they will take control of a team built to win a state championship.
To start off the list, we have one of my favorite QBs from NJ’s 2025 class; Frankie Williams Frankie Williams 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Red Bank Catholic | 2025 State NJ . A true talent and commander for this team, Frankie put up senior like stats in only his sophomore year for Red Bank Catholic. Throwing for 1625 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions, you can tell Frankie is accurate with the ball and an even better decision maker.
It only takes a few seconds of his highlight tape to realize how talented he is. He is a clean passer and is able throw it into a tight window. He also is able to put enough touch on the ball when he needs to loft it over defenders. With great size already, Frankie stands tall in the pocket but also can throw on the run with ease. Running for 299 yards and another 3 touchdowns, Frankie is ready to become more well known across the country in 2023.
Emanuel Ross Emanuel Ross 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ is the reliable target Frankie can always count on. Playing the lead WR position for the team, Emanuel was able to bring in 615 receiving yards and totaled 11 touchdowns on the season. With a quick first step, Emanuel drives hard off of the line and flies by his competition. With quick feet that throw defenders the opposition direction, Emanuel creates space very easily and finds a way to get wide open. An athletic build for a receiver, Emanuel is bringing his talent to Stanford in 2024.
Just as Frankie Williams Frankie Williams 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Red Bank Catholic | 2025 State NJ is one of my favorite QBs in his class, so is Billy Obyrne Billy Obyrne 6’6″ | 230 lbs | LB The Hun School | 2024 NJ for his. A 2024 LB that has recently committed to Pitt, Davin is already equipped with college ready size. He is an intimidating presence on the field as he consistently blows up plays before they get going. Totaling 108 tackles, 4 sacks, an interception and forcing a fumble, Davin is a sound tackler that meets the runner at the line and also brings the pressure anytime he goes in with the blitz.
Logan Graham Logan Graham 6’1″ | 220 lbs | OL Red Bank Catholic | 2024 NJ is a player that is just getting started. A 2025 defensive end, Logan brought the runner down 56 times last season and the QB 3 times. An explosive player off of the line, Logan puts the heat on the QB and and gets into the backfield to disturb the flow of the play. Logan has a good use of his hands when battling against blockers, and his long reach allows him to snag runner and prevents them from getting by him. Logan will only get more attention as the next season progresses.
Stephen Myers Stephen Myers 5’11” | 195 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 NJ is the final addition to the list, and a player I think will explode on the scene in 2023. Playing on both sides of the ball, Stephen mostly made an impact on defense last season. Accumulating 22 tackles and 2 interceptions, Stephen was quick to close in on short routes and never shied away from a tackle. And with great height that matches the receivers he goes up against, Stephen has the hops to catch the ball at its highest point and compete for the ball. Offensively, Stephen will be complementing Emanuel Ross Emanuel Ross 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ as the taller jump ball receiver for Red Bank Catholic. There are a lot of positives to look forward to for Stephen, and I think this season will prove his value on the field.
