The Head Coaches notes are a reference to where each recruit is standing within their recruitment during the spring evaluation period and heading into College Summer Camp season.
Loomis Chaffee has a long history of outstanding football. Whether you are a novice, seasoned veteran, or a post-graduate, there is a place for any student athlete in their program. The varsity team has a nine-game schedule as part of the Nepsac Founders League that follows preseason camp, and the junior varsity team plays a seven-game schedule. There is no need to have had a lifetime of play to participate. They are committed to developing a strong program, and their coaches use identical approaches in every level of the program, allowing players to move between teams. Loomis football players are committed to excellence in academics and athletics. Student athletes are encouraged to participate in other sports during the off-season, and most are multi-sport athletes. This is part 2 of a 2-part series.

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Jacob looks to continue to build on his breakout Senior season at Notre Dame High School. A key piece of Notre Dame’s CT State Championship run; Jack was a force on both sides of the ball. On offense he has proven to be a complete back while his defense prowess is equal to if not better. He is a ball hawk that runs well sideline to sideline, and finishes plays with great physicality. A very strong student as well, his academics will only serve as an asset in his college decision. His work ethic and championship pedigree will prove beneficial during the summer camps season and into the fall at Loomis.

Offers: Dartmouth, Penn, Yale, Columbia, Sacred Heart
Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Jalen is an outstanding Corner prospect with great length and cover skills. Jalen spent the Spring at Loomis running track where he was a member of the 4×1 relay and clocked 22.9 in the 200 Meters and a 52.2 400 Meters on his 1st attempt at the open. His academic performance has been equally strong making him a legitimate prospect for the Ivy League and Service Academies. This summer, the All-Founders league CB will continue to impress at camps as his competitive nature and overall strength will shine.

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Julian’s stock has been consistently rising shortly after his Junior season at Loomis. At 6’4 300lbs, he moves extremely well and is continuing to grow his IQ at the tackle position. A strong student, Julian will have his choice of schools when it comes time for a commitment. He finished the Spring track season strong by winning the Founder’s League Shot Put title. His competitive fire will carry him into a great summer camp season.

Class of 2025Recruitment Interest: Just beginning.
Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Eli is a great competitor who plays on both sides of the ball. At Running back, he looks to have a breakout season as he is a downhill running with the lateral skills to pose an issue in the open field. On the defensive side, he is a physical player who can cover down the field in addition to making plays behind the line of scrimmage. Keep your eyes on this 2025 prospect.

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Jackson Torres Jackson Torres 6’4″ | 290 lbs | OL Loomis Chaffee Ct. | 2025 State New E will arrive to Loomis in the fall of 2023 to bolster an already strong Offensive/Defensive Line group. At 6’4/300 lbs. he has displayed great movement with a developing skill set. With two more years of football to play, Torres should be a top prospect in the region up front. His work ethic and willingness to learn will serve him well as he will compete in a Founders League littered with talent on the offensive and defensive lines this fall
