Nearly 150 prospects from WV and surrounding states came out to compete at the GCOH Performance Exposure Camp yesterday at Morgantown High School's J.W. Ruby Stadium. There was plenty of talent on hand including some big-time prospects that you'll need to know for this season and beyond. Here are some of the top WV defensive linemen we saw at yesterday's camp.

Trevor Dean - Robert C. Byrd HS | 2026

Boy did Robert C. Byrd's Trevor Dean make a name for himself yesterday at the GCOH Performance Camp. Dean was absolutely dominant in 1-on-1s and I'm not sure a if I saw him lose a single rep. I have him marked down at winning nearly double-digit reps in 1-on-1s and nobody could block him. He's a bit undersized right now at 5'10 220, but that did not prevent him from having one of the best performances overall on the day. Dean was really quick off the line and he had some great pass-rush moves that didn't allow bigger offensive linemen to get their hands on him. He was way too quick for most of the offensive linemen at camp and easily won most of his reps. Trevor Dean is definitely a name you need to remember and follow for the next three years. He was named one of three DL Camp MVPs.

Rashad Reid - Martinsburg HS | 2024

Martinsburg's Rashad Reid was just as dominant in 1-on-1s yesterday and was rewarded as one of the DL Camp MVPs. He was also one of my top overall players at camp and won most of his reps. Reid had a nice combination of size, strength, and quickness and won most of his 1-on-1 reps with ease. He's a 6'1 270 interior lineman and had a big year last season earning First Team All-State and EPAC Defensive Player of the Year. Reid racked up 84 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and an astounding 20 TFLs during his junior campaign. Reid will be one of WV's top overall defensive linemen this season.

Wesley Brown Jr. - Bridgeport HS | 2025

The last DL Camp MVP award went to Bridgeport's Wesley Brown Jr. who had a phenomenal day in 1-on-1s. The 5'11 275 rising junior had my third-highest number of winning reps behind Reid and Dean. His height and strength allowed him to get under opposing offensive linemen and he was able to bullrush most of them. Brown Jr. is a powerful athlete and was able to use his leverage to beat the guy across from him. For a guy his size, he also moved quite well and has a nice combination of strength and quickness. With still two more years of development and growth, he should be one of the better defensive linemen in the 2025 class in WV.

Tristen Tuttle - Tyler Consolidated HS | 2024

Tristen Tuttle was a name I was familiar with going into yesterday's camp. He's a very lengthy defensive end prospect who could also play tight end at the next level. His length and athleticism were a problem for most of the opposing linemen and often won his rep quickly in the blink of an eye. Tuttle is a very well-put-together athlete and passed the eye test. He's the first-off-the-bus kind of athlete and will be a sought-after prospect this year. He used his long reach well and had good bend for a guy his height. The 6-4 235 rising senior is a name you'll want to watch this season.

Isaiah Osafo-Mensah - Washington HS | 2025

Isaiah Osafo-Mensah of Washington High School was a very impressive-looking defensive line prospect. I couldn't believe that he was only a rising junior and he definitely looks the part. He's a very solid 6'2 240 with not much bad weight. Osafo-Mensah had a great combination of strength and quickness and was dominant in 1-on-1s. He was fast off the line and blew by the opposing offensive lineman in most of his reps. There is a lot to work with there and has the potential to be a D1 prospect by his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1316670' first='Parker' last='Gorrell'] - Grafton HS | 2025

Grafton's [player_tooltip player_id='1316670' first='Parker' last='Gorrell'] had some good reps in 1-on1s yesterday. The 2025 prospect looked like a strong athlete and he pushed some offensive line backward with his bull rush. Gorrell looked like he could play on either side of the line and although I couldn't find measurements for him, he appeared to be a good-sized player. I had him down as winning at least five reps in 1-on-1s and was definitely a handful at times. He has power and can move well for his size. Keep an eye on this 2025 prospect for the next two years.

Mason England - University HS | 2024

University's Mason England was the biggest prospect in attendance and is a mammoth of an athlete. The 6'4 360 rising senior was very powerful and was a load for a lot of the offensive linemen to handle. For a kid that size, he moved decently and was not a statue. England won't be relied upon to pass rush but he was still able to win quite a few reps in 1-on-1s and just overpowered opposing players at times. I liked the way he competed and was very businesslike with his approach. I thought he had good conditioning and didn't take reps off which was great to see with an athlete his size. England should be a very good run stuffer and demand double teams on the football field.

Other names that had some good reps in 1-on-1s and showed some good things:

[player_tooltip player_id='370358' first='Melique' last='Lewis'] - University HS | 2024 | 6'1 260

Beau Ford - Bridgeport HS | 2025 | 6'0 245

Aryn McPherson - Huntington HS | 2026 | 6'3 300

Malik M'Bayo - Morgantown HS | 2024 | 6'0 225
