- Arnold Mugerwa Arnold Mugerwa 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Richland | 2027 State PA
I’m sure Brad was everyone’s favorite QB1 at the Future Freaks camp. He showed the ability to be accurate with good ball placement and anticipation on several throws. He has good QB mechanics and knows how to adjust the velocity of his passes accordingly. Brad definitely displays FBS ability and competitiveness. I’m excited to watch Birch drop dimes to his bevy of dangerous targets this season.
Richland High School’s Jude Mugerwa Jude Mugerwa 5’11” | 170 lbs | DB Richland | 2025 State PA is most definitely an athlete and further exhibited his abilities at the Future Freaks camp. He looked good doing a variety of things on offense at WR and defensively at CB. He has good speed and ball skills evidenced on a fade reception during the one-on-one portion. I also saw Jude at Richland’s 7-on-7 passing league, and he continued to display his overall athletic prowess. He’s truly capable and dangerous on both sides of the ball. He pedals at a good pad level and shows body control running routes at the appropriate tempo. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how Coach Bailey uses Mugerwa in ’23.

JaTawn Williams Jr
JaTtawn was a pleasure to watch at the Future Freaks camp. He has good size and displayed a lot of body control getting in and out of his breaks and contesting passes at DB. You can tell JaTawn plays basketball by the way the ’24 athlete is able to go up like he’s grabbing a rebound. He ran good routes and displayed adequate speed and quickness overall. He competed hard during the one-on-one portion and even has a Randy Moss-like grab.
I’ve written about Caden several times, but this was the first time I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him in person. He has good footwork and man coverage skills. He plays at a low pad level, which gives him the ability to break on the football. He’s an athletic RB and contests the ball well in coverage situations. He’s very competitive and has a high ceiling for his overall potential. Caden is progressing quickly as an athlete, and he will be a weapon for Montour in 2023.
Keeping the skilled outside WR theme going, can’t forget to mention Dyson Harper Dyson Harper 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR Gateway | 2025 State PA ‘s skillset shown at the Future Freaks camp. He ran good routes and had another gear when the ball was released. He catches the ball away from his body, which is most advantageous when he’s attempting to Moss smaller DBs. Harper has adequate speed and will benefit greatly with an increased role at Gateway this season. No surprise that Dyson is the younger brother of ’23 D1 Youngstown football commit, as he also displays next-level capabilities.
27′ Richland HS wideout, Arnold Mugerwa Arnold Mugerwa 6’2″ | 175 lbs | WR Richland | 2027 State PA , is definitely a “Future Freak.” The Mugerwa brothers both displayed skill and competitiveness all day long. His frame, at 6’2 and 175 lbs, is impressive already without ever having played a high school snap. He runs sharp routes mixed with ball skills and has a tremendous leaping ability. Mugerwa has all the makings to be an effective X possession WR and red zone secret weapon. He’s very polished, considering his inexperience, and I’m sure Coach Bailey and the Rams are glad to have him.
