We are expecting to see the prospects in this article have a very big season. These are the guys who have already been great for their team. Let’s check it out.
Ronnie Blossom Ronnie Blossom 6'3" | 225 lbs | DL Warren Central | 2025 State MS , Warren Central
Blossom is a very well-known prospect across the state of Mississippi. I’m wondering why he hasn’t taken off yet. That is going to happen soon. Blossom is a very vicious defensive end that always gets in the backfield. He is one of the most talented players in this class. The way he uses his hands to be a magician in the trenches is amazing. Be sure to keep an eye out for this guy.
Macaleb Taylor, RB, Grenada
Taylor is a player that I became a fan of last season. He is very elusive with nice speed. He also has great balance between the tackles. Taylor is a player that loves to catch the ball out of the backfield. I don’t know his 40 time, but he is known to break off long runs. He is also unselfish. He loves to protect his quarterback when he doesn’t have a route assignment.
Keyshawn Ben, Choctaw Co
Ben was super explosive last season. You had to be a guy that truly loves football to know who he is. Ben did a great job against Louisville. He had three touchdowns against their starting defense. That’s when he started to catch my attention. I expect this young man to let everyone know who he is this season. He has amazing game speed. I love the way he can play multiple positions on offense. Be sure to keep up with him.
Jahmani Washington Jahmani Washington 6'2" | 195 lbs | LB Grenada | 2025 State MS , Grenada
I expect to see Washington do some big things this season. He will be filling the shoes of two big time linebackers. Washington is going from playing outside linebackers to inside. He is a guy that did a great job during camps this season. I love watching him play the game. I was able to catch two of their games last season. Washington caused turnovers in both games. He is a player to know.
