When you hit a QB camp, it's easy to hammer the QBs all day. While we aren't able to cover every QB who looked good, we're able to hit some non QBs, because they're just as important to make the camp go round as the ones throwing it.

Sloan was easily one of the top wide-outs at the camp. He's got fantastic speed and can explode off of the line. He's got great acceleration and then has the ability to win downfield. He's got fairly good ball skills, and can bring in the over the shoulder grabs. He's a QBs best friend in terms of catch radius and willingness to fight for a ball. Sloan can also change direction and cut fairly easily. There's a lot to like with this young receiver, and is someone who could really take off this fall in the recruiting world.

[player_tooltip player_id='712336' first='Jack' last='Lockhart'] - Cathedral - ATH - 6'0" 200lbs - 2025

Lockhart was easily the best defender there and had a great day all over the field. He's incredibly versatile and is just as good in coverage as he is coming downhill to play the run. When working on bags and drill work, Lockhart had quick feet and could explode downhill. His frame gives him LB advantages in the backend, but then still has the speed you need to play back there. He's able to play physical and make instinctive plays. He's set to be one of Cathedral's most important defensive pieces, and for a very good reason.

[player_tooltip player_id='828187' first='Will' last='Rizzuto'] - Carmel - WR - 5'11" 175lbs - 2024

Rizzuto was one of the most physically impressive skilled players there. He's a decent athlete with a good build. He's fairly explosive and can get low in his breaks without losing a ton of momentum. He's also got good hands and was really good in the short and quick game. He's able to make guys miss and is strong enough that he could break tackles. I was told he looked good on day 1 as well, so it seems he made the most of this camp. Rizzuto could come out and take ahold of a job this fall and help Carmel in multiple areas on the field.

Murphy was by far the best lineman there, and left with the MVP honors for that reason. Immediately, his frame and build stands out. Lengthy, evenly distributed, broad shoulders, and isn't a hunchback. On the field during drill work, he was good. Strong hands and a good first step led the way. He's got a bunch of natural upper body strength and keeping his balance isn't an issue. He's able to slide his feet, stay off his heels, and not rock back when in pass protection. Murphy made it fairly easy to cover him as he's got all the traits you look for, tangible and intangible.
