The prospects featured in this piece have already begun to stand out and I believe are worthy of a scholarship offer. They're young and some are a bit raw, but their upside is evident. I believe they each have the size, athleticism, and God-given ability of a division one ball player. I would not be shocked if we saw some of their offer lists grow fairly quickly between now and week one of the season.

As always, If you have someone you think I need to see, please DM them to me on Twitter at @hsfbscout!

Owen Lee, 6'5" 295, Carbondale

This is a mean prospect on the field with heavy hands and was a knockdown machine in 2022. He keeps his feet moving once engaged and has the grip strength to secure first-level blocks.

Matt Marek, 6'4" 280, Sandburg

Marek punches on a rise, he can generate clear running lanes by turning a defender's pads and gets his second step in the ground quickly. He can singe on the back of gap scheme runs and has a wing span that gives rushers problems.

Michael McDonough, 6'3" 270, Andrew

A tough & explosive guard prospect with loose hips and can bend. Michael fires off the ball low, he has efficient leg drive as a run blocker and is extremely physical at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='609227' first='Deuce' last='Thornton'] 6'3" 280, Peoria

This young man has some pop behind his punch and can play all three spots on the offensive line. He plays with an attitude, can generate vertical displacement on down linemen, and has the athletic ability to get out in space and block on designed receiver screens.

Jake Sulzberger, 6'5" 260, Lemont

Jake glides east & west as a puller, he works well with his linemate on assigned double teams and can help spring runs at the second level. He's put on a ton of size this off-season and I think his best football is yet to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='537276' first='Zak' last='Stoilov'] 6'5" 265, Maine South

Moves like a ballerina and has great body control for a big man. He's quick out of his stance, can redirect laterally against counter moves, and knows how to reset his hands when his punch gets outside the breastplate.

[player_tooltip player_id='278903' first='Dayne' last='Schellenger'] 6'6" 290, Greenville

Plays with a strong base and looks to finish his blocks. Quite raw and needs to work on his bend/flexibility, but there's a ton to work with.
