Cortez Smith Cortez Smith 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Parkview | 2025 State GA – Parkview
One of the top 2025 offensive linemen in Georgia, which is saying a lot, Smith is a powerful interior offensive linemen who is versatile enough to play either right or left guard at the next level. Ranked as the No. 6 OL prospect in the state, the Parkview standout is an easy SEC-caliber prospect, and this week he earned a new offer from Mississippi State. He has plenty of size at 6-foot-4 295-pounds, and as a sophomore, really bullied some impressive 7A defensive linemen on a weekly basis last year. He fires off the ball, plays with good leverage, and shows impressive lower body strength, driving defenders backwards and eliminating them from the play. He blocks for a big-time running back who was one of the leading rushers across the peach-state last year. He can pull, get to the second level, and does a good job of engaging with linebackers at the second level and putting them on the ground. As good as he already is, look for him to get better and better over the next two seasons. Of course, expect the offers to keep rolling in this spring.
Christian Garrett – DL – Prince Avenue Christian
One of the fastest-rising defensive linemen in Georgia, the up and coming interior lineman was recently offered by the in-state Georgia Bulldogs, and it’s easy to see why. Garrett is quick off the ball with plenty of D1 size at 6-foot-4 285-pounds with an outstanding 83-inch wingspan. As a sophomore last season, Garrett played like a seasoned veteran, making 53 tackles from the interior along with three sacks and five TFLs. He takes on double-teams, gets off blocks, and knows how to deliver a big hit. He clogs running lanes and shows a good motor to the ball-carrier as well. Gilbert plays with strong hands, good leverage, and loves to compete. He knows his best football is still ways ahead of him and he works hard every day to perfect is craft. He helped lead Prince Avenue Christian all the way to the Single-A state championship last year and is hoping to lead them all the way as a junior in 2023. Look for his offer list to grow more and more sooner than later.
Isaiah Gibson Isaiah Gibson 6'5" | 250 lbs | DL Warner Robins | 2025 State GA – DL – Warner Robins
One of the top young DL prospects not only in Middle Georgia but across the state, the big Warner Robins lineman is a tough, physical lineman with a lean frame and a great motor. The playmaking defender continues to see more offers come his way, and this week he earned a big one from the defending SEC west champion LSU Tigers. As a run defender, he plays sound gap assignment, doing his job consistently and clogging running lanes in the middle of the line of scrimmage. He also knows how to attack the quarterback and win most of his one-on-one battles. He’s lighting quick off the snap and shows quick, active hands, allowing him to wreck havoc in the backfield. The big-time 2025 lineman made 42 tackles on the season with 12 of them coming behind the line of scrimmage. He also added six sacks and hurried the quarterback 24 times, proving to be one of the top overall pass-rushers in Middle Georgia. His stock is rising fast, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon.
Onis Konanbanny Onis Konanbanny 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Rabun Gap | 2025 GA – DB – Rabun Gap
One of the fastest-rising defensive backs not only in Georgia, but across the country, the Rabun Gap standout has a long, athletic frame and has earned new major offers recently from both Georgia and Ohio State. An instinctual defender and a true athlete who can make plays on both sides of the ball, it’s easy to see Konanbanny’s potential at thee next level, and he will quickly rise in the 2025 Prep Redzone rankings in the next update. He’s a stout defender against the run, but his length, quickness, and ability to cover is why he’s earning offers on a consistent basis. The playmaking sophomore broke up an outstanding 11 passes and recovered two fumbles last season, showing his big play ability. He’s a natural in coverage, and his best football is still way ahead of him. Look for his offer list top continue growing more and more over the next few weeks.
Jontae Gilbert Jontae Gilbert 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB Douglass | 2025 State GA – DB – Douglass
The No. 4 overall prospect in the 2025 Prep Redzone rankings, Gilbert is a versatile defensive back who can play wither safety or cornerback at the next level. He’s a long, athletic defensive back at 6-foot-1 175-pounds with good technique, footwork, and ball skills. A current Ohio State commitment, Gilbert is still a major target for plenty of big-time programs in the 2025 class, and this week he earned a new offer from the Florida Gators. He’s quick, aggressive, and can even make a big tackle in the open field. He has easy 5-star potential, and Prep Redzone has him ranked as the No. 1 DB prospect in the state for his class. There’s a lot to like about his game, and he’s absolutely one of the top overall prospects in the Atlanta area regardless of class.
