This group was disciplined, worked hard, and didn’t mess around when it was time to work. The following guys left as the MVP for their respective positions on the offensive side of the ball.
Tristan Robertson Tristan Robertson 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Floyd Central | 2024 State IN – Floyd Central – QB – 6’2″ 215lbs – 2024
Robertson was absolutely fantastic today. Not just that, but he looks the part and did a great job taking command. He’s got a presence about him when he starts to feel it on the field. It’s not an arrogance, not anything but confidence being built. He’s a decent build and has a big arm that can go deep. I really liked his ability to throw out-breaking routes in stride with anticipation. There were a few moments of straight brilliance. He was able to throw open a few receivers, including 1 right over the middle of the field. He’s got a ton of raw arm talent which is what he relied on, and for good reason. While there were a few throws his base got shortened, it’s clear from watching his tape and then watching him today, he’s been working on his footwork mechanics. He had a good day. He looked great, and I feel like Floyd Central could really do something special this fall with him slinging the rock. His development from year 1 to now has been outstanding, and now he’s winning MVPs at camps. Robertson’s impression he left on me was fairly simple. He’s a big bodied gun-slinging leader with a ton ability waiting to be unleashed in the right system. This could very well just be the tip of the iceberg for Robertson.

Alijah Price Alijah Price 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB Ben Davis | 2025 State IN – Ben Davis – RB – 5’7″ 170lbs – 2025
Price is as dynamic as anyone in the state of Indiana right now. He dominated the camp today in the testing phase and then made play after play after play during the rest of the camp. There’s a reason Ben Davis called him up early and gave him the reigns. He’s a freakish athlete, especially for his age, and just breezes around the field. He’s got elite change of direction, elite burst and acceleration, has fantastic ball skills for a back, and has some of the best short area quickness you’ll see anyone have. He left the camp with the #1 40 time of 4.64. The #1 3-cone with a 7.25. #1 in the broad jump as well. A clean sweep for the athletic testing alone was enough to raise some eyebrows. The best part about Price is he then gets to go play football. This dude is quite simply a weapon. The explosion he has out of the backfield with the ability to catch is outright ridiculous. Add in his ability to run in between the tackles and you’ve got quite the special back. He’s young, incredibly dynamic, and will head into the year as the Varsity starter once again.

LeRoy Lewis IV LeRoy Lewis IV 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Brebeuf Jesuit | 2024 State IN – Brebeuf Jesuit – WR – 5’10” 185lbs – 2024
Lewis came into today as someone on the radar, but hadn’t quite pinged. Well, it didn’t take long for him to really seperate himself from a large portion of the skilled players. His change of direction, quick feet, and ability to stop on a dime is incredibly impressive. He kept winning on deep routes with great adjustment with the ball in the air. I called him over and asked him to run a whip route. He ran it, made the defender look silly, then had a ball thrown 2-yards to his inside. He stopped, somehow, and went back and made the catch through the defender. Defender draped all over, holding, PI, and early contact, yet he was still able to bring in the ball with his hands. With his ability to create separation and catch anything in his vicinity, he really looked good in the 40 as well. He was one of the most consistent players on the outside, showcased a decent amount of versatility, and left me writing a 4-letter D-word on my notepad more than once near his name with a highlight reel type play. I now understand the hype and potential that this young man possess and why he should be flying up boards all across the country.

Braxton Strong Braxton Strong 6'3" | 235 lbs | ATH Peru | 2024 State IN – Peru – TE – 6’3″ 235lbs – 2024
Strong was incredible from start to finish today. From running a 40 in the 4.6 range, to making catches over top of people, and creating separation, he really did it all today. Not to mention, an awesome diving grab, the only one of the day I believe, but right up the seam in a closely contested catch. It was easily one of the highlights of the day and got a few pops from those watching. His frame is even better and more impressive looking in person. He looks and plays taller than 6’3″, but doesn’t lose any of that ability to bend. He’s able to play through contact and be physical where needed, like in the Redzone. His catch radius is huge and there were times that it looked like a ball was overthrown, just to see this massive paw come up and snag it out of the air. While he did have 1 drop early on, it was simply from trying to turn up field too quickly. He’s a great athlete, and was just in a bit of a hurry to make a big play. After that, he really locked in and made that play the very next rep. I liked that he didn’t back down from coaching points, mistakes, and was looking for criticism. When others were moving to the back and getting tired, he kept moving up and taking reps. He wanted more, more reps, and more opportunities to showcase his ability. He’s one of those guys who truly is always working, and today was a great example of that work paying off. He’s currently a 2-star recruit with offers from Fordham, Harvard, and Army. However, it won’t be long with performances like this, that the other star, or 2, will show up.

Benjamin Brasher Benjamin Brasher 6'4" | 315 lbs | OL Evansville North | 2025 State IN – Evansville North – OL – 6’3″ 295lbs – 2025
Brasher came out and had a solid day from start to finish. He really thrived once they got to the playing football part. He was fine throughout testing, but he really stood out in 1 on 1’s and in the drill work. For a guy his size, he showcased really sound feet. He’s got strong hands right at the point of attack and did a good job driving out. He’s got a decent center of gravity and is able to move his feet, adjust, and stay balanced throughout the rep. He’s not going to get caught reaching or be faked out with a hesitation move. He seemed to pick up the small coaching points very well and very quickly. He moved to a few different spots and got reps from a few differnent angles. He’s someone who got stronger and better as the camp went on. He got his confidence up and you could really see the difference in just how he was carrying himself around the football field. Every single offensive lineman that was there yesterday could have easily won MVP. It was a great group, but Brasher just bested out some of the other guys to take home the MVP honors. A deserving performance no doubt, and a guy who could really begin to climb up boards starting this fall.
