Prep Redzone gives the details…
Jordan Carter Jordan Carter 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Douglas County | 2026 State GA – Douglas County
One of the top young defenders in West Georgia, Carter has had a big week on the recruiting trail this week, adding recent offers from UAB and App State. The 6-foot-4 235-pounder has easy D1-caliber size and should see his recruitment take off more and more as college coaches stop by to check on Douglas County. He’s a tough, physical defender with a great motor, and he’s bound for a gigantic sophomore season in 2023. Douglas County is loaded with young talent on the roster and Carter appears to be one of the best. He’s big and strong for his age and can get off blocks well for a freshman defender. His best football is still way ahead of him, but the D1 potential is easy to see. Carter is ranked in the latest update as the No. 4 DL prospect and the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
Nalin Scott Nalin Scott 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Kennesaw Mountain | 2026 State GA – WR – Kennesaw Mountain
One of the top young prospects in Cobb County, Scott is a playmaking receiver out of Kennesaw Mountain with plenty of size and speed at 6-foot-3 200-pounds. Scott has sky-high potential as a speedy vertical threat who knows how to break tackles after the catch. He didn’t light up the stat sheet, but again, he was just a freshman. Still, the talent, and size is easy to see. The young Mustang receiver caught 18 passes for 278 yards, an average of 15.4 yards per reception, and three touchdowns. His recruitment is about to take off, and he recently earned a big offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs, along with offers from UAB, Arkansas State, and Western Kentucky. Scott should see more and more offers come his way this spring.
Aaron Gregory Aaron Gregory 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR Douglas County | 2026 State GA – WR – Douglas County
Prep Redzone’s No. 11 prospect in the state for the 2026 class, Gregory has made the move to Douglas County this year from Augusta Christian and bound for a massive sophomore season after tearing up the camp and 7-on-7 circuit this spring. A bigger, longer receiver for his age at 6-foot-2 170-pounds, Gregory’s ball skills are easy to notice as he knows how to catch the football both in the air and close to the ground. He showed quick, balanced feet, good burst, and he’s dangerous after the catch. Gregory caught 32 passes as a freshman for 271 yards and three touchdowns as a freshman last year, and the offers are rolling in. He dynamic freshman earned a new offer this week from the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs.
Trenton ‘Sager’ Quinn – OL/DL – Calhoun
A versatile, hard-hitting defender who really flashed last season as a freshman, Quinn is one of the top young defenders in North Georgia who showed the ability to wreck plays before they get started. He’s quick off the edge and does a great job of shedding blocks and getting after the ball-carrier. He has a great motor and knows how to deliver a strong hit when making a tackle. He has plenty of size for a freshman at 6-foot-3 250-pounds and has his best football still way ahead of him. He plays for an outstanding Calhoun program and is bound for a big-time sophomore season in 2023 for the Yellow Jackets. After a strong freshman season, Quinn is already seeing offers come his way, and he earned a new offer this week from Georgia Southern. With the Eagles on board, look for more programs to extend an offer sooner than later.
Camron Thompson – OL – Jenkins
A tough, impressive right tackle prospect from Savannah, Thompson is coming off a promising freshman season where he consistently put defenders on their back. A dominant tackle in the run game, Thompson served up plenty of pancakes during his freshman season and opened up plenty of running lanes on the right side. His raw strength and power allows him to bully opposing defenders, and he made it look easy as a freshman. At 6-foot-3 290-pounds, the D1 talent was on full display last year, and his recruitment is starting to really take off. The talented freshman saw recent offers come in from N.C State and Auburn, and he’ll likely see more come his way sooner than later. Look for him to shoot up the 2026 rankings in the next update.
