Which 2025 prospects earned new offers recently? Let’s take a look…
Thomas Blackshear Thomas Blackshear 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Benedictine | 2025 State GA – WR – Calvary Day
It’s been a massive couple of weeks for one of the top young receivers not only in South Georgia, but across the state in the 2025 class. We’ve written about Blackshear before as an “under thee radar” receiver, but he’s now fully on everyone’s radar. A state-champion in 2022 for Benedictine, the playmaking wideout caught 41 passes last season for 641 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Savannah native has plenty of size and length at 6-foot-2 190-pounds and flashed D1 talent on a consistent basis last year. He was a dependable option in the passing game all year long and shows the ability to stretch the field vertically while also being a threat in the screen and short passing game. He’s quick, explosive, and has a knack for finding the end-zone. His recruitment started to really take off at the end of April, adding offers from South Carolina and Tennessee. The beginning of May has also been good to Blackshear as he’s added new offers this week from Auburn and Coastal Carolina.
Mark Manfred Mark Manfred 6'3" | 180 lbs | ATH Sprayberry | 2025 State GA – Sparyberry
A new sophomore defensive back to know about in Cobb County, Manfred is an impressive cover-corner on the verge of seeing his recruitment take off. It wasn’t a great year for the Yellow Jackets overall, but it’s clear they have an easy D1-caliber player on the roster in the 6-foot-3 175-pound defensive back. He’s a quit-footed cornerback who can turn around and really run. He has a lengthy frame, and when the ball is in the air, he knows how to leap up and make a play on it. He showed strong ball skills, picking off two passes, returning one for a touchdown, and deflecting 11 more passes. He also notched 30 total tackles on the season, showing he can do it all at cornerback. Offensively, Manfred caught 19 passes for 316 yards and five touchdowns. He’s a threat to score any time he has the ball, and college coaches are starting to notice. After earning his first two offers earlier this year, Manfred earned a new offer this spring from Georgia Southern. Look for his offer list to grow more and more as college coaches stop by Sprayberry this spring.
Andre Fuller Jr – EDGE- Grayson
There’s a new Grayson Ram defender to know about on the recruiting trail, and it’s big-time EDGE defender, Andre Fuller Jr. The 6-foot-2 220-pounder is quick off the edge and knows how to get into the backfield in a hurry. He may have been overshadowed by a few other talented Grayson defenders last year, but his presence was still known along the Ram’s defensive line. He does a good job of shedding blocks and then chasing down the ball-carrier. His best football might be on the edge, but he has the ability to move inside and make an impact in the middle of the trenches as well. As a sophomore last year, Fuller Jr made 45 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, and 2.5 sacks. Now that college coaches are out recruiting, Fuller will likely see some D1 offers come his way. He earned a new offer recently from Missouri, and it likely won’t be his last.
Justin Hasenhuetl Justin Hasenhuetl 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Rabun Gap | 2025 State GA – OL – Rabun Gap
A big, physical, versatile offensive lineman from North Georgia, Hasenhuelt stands at 6-foot-5 285-pounds and has become one of the hottest OL prospects across Georgia this spring. The big Rabun Gap standout can play tackle, guard, and even catch passes if moved to the tight end position. He shows great footwork, but his grittiness and toughness really stand out. He moves extremely well for his size and displayed impressive athleticism for a sophomore offensive lineman. He’s a major weapon on the offensive line and will climb higher and higher in the Prep Redzone 2025 rankings in the next update. Rabun-Gap has one of the top 2025 classes in Georgia, and Hasenhuetl is one of the best on the roster. He has major D1 size, talent, and strength, and it’s led to a flurry of recent offers. He earned a new one recently from Auburn, and he’ll likely see plenty more come his way soon.
