Cleveland
Jay Beamon Jay Beamon 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Cleveland Central | 2025 State MS will be back holding down the offense again this season. He is one of the best 2025 quarterbacks in Mississippi. Beamon was on point tossing the football around yesterday. Their offense is going to be very explosive this season. They are looking to go back to the playoffs again.
Tenerrean Jackson Tenerrean Jackson 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Cleveland Central | 2024 State MS was looking smooth for Cleveland on defense. He is a player that I am excited to watch play this year. I expect Cleveland to have a good season.
Houston
Jalen Washington Jalen Washington 5'8" | 190 lbs | RB Houston | 2024 State MS will be back next season for. This young man is a nice running back who is a stud. Will Echoles Will Echoles 6'4" | 305 lbs | OL Houston | 2024 State MS is another big time player they have coming back next season. He has seen his recruiting take off this offseason. Christopher Parker Christopher Parker 5'7" | 155 lbs | ATH Houston | 2025 MS was holding down the running back duties as well. Doug Jones Doug Jones 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Houston | 2024 State MS is a tackling machine. I think that he will definitely be playing on Saturdays one day.
Clarksdale
Clarksdale is moving up to 5A next season. It is going to be real interesting to see them make that transition. They have the players to do so. Patrick Broomfield is the number one cornerback in Mississippi. He will be back holding down the islands. Kyron Williams was out there bulldozing defensive linemen from the line of scrimmage. He is a straight dog.
Pascagoula
I didn’t see them play their spring game. However, I know Silas Corder Silas Corder 6'1" | 210 lbs | QB Pascagoula | 2025 State MS is a 2025 quarterback who is ready to lead his squad. These guys have a lot to look forward to with him behind the center. Corder has a strong arm with good accuracy. He is a guy to know.
