Torin Carpenter, DE, Cascade Christian

Cascade Christian's versaile DL will return for his senior campaign, and will look to top his last season total with 13 sacks. He's become that nuisance along the DL that makes it difficult for longer offensive linemen to reach down to his level, as he really cpitalizes off that inital burst. Not a ton of film on him, but he'll be in a good spot to put up big numbers in 2023 as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='206272' first='Byson' last='Vasquez'], LB, Cascade Christian '24

Another Cascade Christian kid returning that projects to be a monster on the both sides of the ball. Vasquez totaled 11 sacks last season, but his most imprssive stat was his 144 total tackles. Instinctual player with excellent play rec and burst to the ball, as he posted 13 TFL's to go along with it.

Blake French, DE, Dayton/Waitsburg '24

French sizes up with a long frame at 6'3" 180lbs and much more room to fill out, as he could very well end up being a very big kid along that OL/DL. He's developing into a mismatch along the edges and possesses a very raw skillset. He comes off a solid junior season by racking up 9 sacks and 42 tackles with 9 TFL's, and will have a big opportunity to take control and be that game wrecker on D this fall.

Jason Hawes, LB, Port Angeles '24

Hawes comes off a nice junior season with 9 sacks and 135 total tackles. According to the MaxPreps stats, he also posted 47.5 TFL's. He's a well put together kid with a strong, stout frame at 6'2" 230lbs. Strong at the POA with a good striking ability when he can get squared up, and he did a terrific job timing up the snap during blitzes to get a good jump and make plays in the backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='1108666' first='Coen' last='Cronk'], LB, Olympia '24

In 8 games played, Cronk posted up 8 sacks, 47 tackles and 12 TFL's. He's developing into a big problem, as he possesses both good play strength and play speed within his 6'3" 170lb frame and still has much room to add mass without losing athleticism. Mismatch vs OT's on the edge given his burst and speed, and he possesses really good instincts, play rec, and sideline to sideline ability. I think Cronk is set up for a breakout senior year and wouldn't be suprised to see some division 1 offers come his way.
