Continue ReadingBaskin recently made the transfer over to Basha HS for his Senior year from New Jersey and will be one of the more electric playmakers across the region, and will be one to watch for in 2023. He can play in the slot or on the outside, shows a quick burst out of his stance, gains ground quickly and is a natural pass catcher downfield with tracking abilities and strong hands. He is a vertical threat over the top and can make contested catches while easily able to make defenders miss in the open field. He displays elite foot speed/lateral movement abilities out of his release and is a high IQ route runner against zone coverage. A true burner and offensive weapon, he is in line for a monster Senior season.
Germaine is a off-platform thrower that is very elusive in the pocket, keeps his eyes downfield and is not afraid to take a hit in order to get the ball out. He has a strong build, good feet in the pocket and can feel pressure from various angles while stepping up and delivering it downfield. He also shows a quick release, can throw from different arm angles and puts nice zip on the ball fitting it into tight windows. Germaine checks in as a First-Team All-Region guy but doesn’t field any offers yet. Going into his Senior season, he should collect next level interest and can make a impact at the college level.
Daxen Hall
Daxen Hall
Hall is a bit undersized, but plays tough and runs behind his pads while very physical and tough to bring down in the open field. He is a straight lined runner that hits the hole quickly and flashes sudden quickness in the hole and some lateral agility to make defenders miss in tight windows. In traffic, he shows elite contact balance and can break arm/ankle tackles while showing vision in the open field with cutback abilities and third level speed. Hall is a no brainer next level caliber player and would make an instant impact on a D-III+ roster. He should be in line to be one of the regions best backs in 2023.
