Kennedy has had a very busy Spring coming off a phenomenal Junior season. This Spring, he has picked up offers from Oregon State, Nevada, Idaho, Bowling Green and UTEP. Kennedy has great size for the defensive end position, long arms and a frame that will only be able to pack on more weight as he progresses through college. On tape, he shows elite first step quickness with range near the LOS and gets into the backfield quickly while able to defeat reach/base blocks with a strong punch and instant lockout upon contact. Kennedy also shows that he can bend off the edge and has a variety of pass rush moves in his toolbox. He is a high motor kid with backside pursuit and a long strider when closing that seems to have lots of untapped potential.
Sharp is a well put together compact kid with a powerful lower body and extremely strong at the POA. He wins with leverage, leg drive and initial strike at the POA while able to quickly get off blocks, eat up double teams and quickly reset the LOS. In pass protection, he knows when to counter back inside, can tackle in space and shows quick block recognition from both the defensive end and defensive tackle position. He provides position versatility along the front four but should find his home inside in college due to his size and build.
Laduke holds an offer from ASU, and is a FBS caliber player. He has good length at 6’1 and shows eye discipline in zone coverage and baits quarterbacks into bad throws before triggering on the ball. In run support, he is not afraid to come up and get in the mix while showing closing speed, quick breaking abilities and a very sure open field tackler. He is a balanced defender with good size and length, and could potentially grow into a outside linebacker at the next level as he continues to pack on more weight.
